David Beckham is a man with classical good looks - as in if you were a Renaissance sculptor looking for a model to sculpt yourself up a Roman God in marble, David Beckham would be a good choice, from cheekbones to abs. Now, not everyone is into the Roman God look, but he is “of a type” that society has agreed is “good looking” - and has agreed is good looking for a very long time.
Someone like Julia Roberts is not classically good looking - her smile is too wide, her nose a little off. Her appeal is in her perceived charm, her quirky looks, and being famous - because as the Mick Jagger case proves - famous and talented is like cheese sauce on brussels sprouts - a few people like them alone, but cheese sauce makes them far more appealing to more people.
Well I wouldn’t recognize her as Katy Perry, I’d figure she was just an average woman.
Julia Roberts is merely a good looking woman, not Hollywood hot. She is a very enjoyable actress.

Very lovely woman who is feminine and very beautiful in a woman next door kind of way. Her talent blazes like a thousand suns. I first noticed her in American Hustle where she shone and complimented and raised the excitement level and the other actors in every scene she was in, and De Niro, Bale, Adams and Cooper are all great actors. She is a world heritage treasure in acting ability. I’ve also noticed her in the X-men movies actually getting some sympathy for that stupid blue character.
Mila Kunis? Really guys? She ages like a bottle of Chateaux La Fite and she can really act. When she’s not struck dumb on the same set as her crush Ashton Kutcher. The 2.5 Men episode she guested on was really, really painful. Both of them are terrible on screen together they are so besotted with each other. (Congrats kids!)
The thing about That 70s Show was that Jackie was treated as “the hot one” when she was quite pretty, but not really hot, and the character was really annoying. It was nostalgia for how kids don’t appreciate physical and inner beauty the way adults do. Donna was always the really hot character. The problem was that Laura Prepon at the time didn’t really have her lines down and didn’t emote as well as Kunis. My favorite woman on that show was Lisa Robin Kelly as Laurie Foreman. May she rest in peace.

I realize this whole thread is based upon one’s subjective standards but I have to disagree with you there. If I was seeing this woman for the first time and didn’t know anything about her, I’d say she looked cute and attractive–definitely well above average. Of course, this being Katy Perry, her real assets are below her face. That would certainly cause any heterosexual male to take notice.
Yeah. Though she’s nothing amazing, she is exactly the kind of person who would turn my head. In fact I prefer her with non-celebrity levels of makeup, like in picture no.8

I don’t think photos without make up are any kind of major reveal. Just takes her from glammed up cute to regular cute. With a nice bosom.

Brad Pitt, Leo DiCaprio and Matt Damon are all fine actors but I do not find them attractive.

Jennifer Lawrence is pretty enough, in a “girl next door” way. But in my opinion, she’s just very bland looking, to the extent that I never recognize her. She looks like a thousand other generic actresses, as if they were bought in bulk from Costco.
She always comes up in the long hair/short hair threads. For some reason some think she looks good in short hair. I can’t see it at all. She has beautiful hair when it’s long. It complimented her face and she looks quite attractive. With her hair short and her face now too skinny all I see are huge ears poking out and eyes bugging out of her head.
But even at her worst she is higher than a three.
Hey, Costco actresses is one of the better deals in retail. 
Reese Witherspoon is a decent actress, but her looks are not up to her hype. Neither are Julia Roberts’.
It’s too bad Kristen Stewart isn’t really as cute as she was depicted in those early Twilight movie posters.

Big second on Zellweger; her facial features are too small for her head. Same with Andie MacDowell.
It’s really not the short haircut that makes her look skinny. I think it’s because she’s actually lost a fair amount of weight. I know some of the loss was for her role in Les Misérables but it doesn’t seem she’s gone back to her healthy former weight.
Still, I agree that she’s much higher than a three. To me, no worse than a 7.5. If she lets her hair grow out and stops trying to be another Hollywood twig, she’d easily break 9.

I’d be willing to believe that there’s a little padding and shaping that’s happening, but certainly there’s no body double at the point where she looked the most boobalicious, she’s not a flat-chested washboard without padding, and she’s definitely a good looking lady, at least with her makeup on all nice.
