i regged here before but couldn’t get it to work so i let it go for a bit. i felt i must return however, as the Straight Dope is a colunm/knowledge base i feel strongly about.
but first, a little about me. i’m 17/f, from PA. (am i the youngest or are there any younger than me???) i’m a senior in highschool with a lower average than i should have, considering my ‘potential’ as my parents refer to it. at any rate, i’m a slacker/punk beast. i write a lot, and i publish my own xerox zine called Arthur megaphone’s Cheap Show, which until July had a home on Angelfire until it was rudely eliminated, with no reasons given to me as to its removal. (i refuse to publish an exclusively e-zine, however, it defies the nature of punk rock philosophy as i see it.) i plan to get into the production of comic books upon my release from hell—err, i mean, highschool. (matter of fact i’m looking for places to go to college for that exact purpose. if anyone knows anything about it, let me know.)
sorry this is so long, but i felt like i should give yu folks some warning/background as to myself before i start posting regularly (which won’t be for another 2 weeks as i have marching band things going on til then which hog up my computer time.)i use every messenger ever made (so long as it’s accessible to mac computers – i have an Indigo iMac) so if you’re really really bored you can find me — it’s like those “i spy” or “where’s waldo” books except that my name isn’t waldo.
