Well, I just did a training session to my boss and one other manager. It was about using the intranet, HTML, and CSS. Just basic stuff for after I’m gone.
I’m not going to be getting a job doing training any time soon.
Bah.
This is my great accomplishment for the day. The next time I try this, I’m going to use a different kind of solder.

Sticky what a great idea! And I’ve soldered enough (barely) to know that isn’t easy. Tiny, gotta give details-- no room for error. For me, wood, ceramics, and poly clay are a tiny bit more forgiving.
Can you make flowers with the handles? Brooches or hair pins if you could keep them light. Le sigh, I miss a proper studio.
I avoided MalMart by paying a little extra at WalGreens. The book will be there tomorrow. Is it ironic that MalMart is selling me a book so ‘intense’ they wouldn’t normally even touch it for fear of catching the eviltude?
As you clean the garage lieu, beware of chicken nests. My dad got quite the egg shower that way once. Turns out free range chickens like nesting in the ceiling storage and then abandon the nest!
Hmmm… I’ll remember that. I was going for heart shaped pendant, but butterfly works, too. 
You and me both. I had put everything ‘away’ because the season was over. It took me a ridiculously long amount of time just to find all of the tools that I needed. I’d just get started and remember something else that I needed. I know, mis en place!!!
To answer your other question that I didn’t quote, I don’t know what to use to cut the darn things with. I generally use a bolt cutter, but it wouldn’t work on the far ends of the handles because they were too thin. I ended up with the good ole hacksaw which takes forever and wouldn’t make it practical for making other little things in bulk.
No problemo (maybe). A couple of my best buds are Shop Teachers (the upper case is deliberate-- they are gods!) and should know, or figure it out if they don’t. Their welding and such tends to bus stop pavilions but if cake is promised they’ll know the answer tout de suite.
And I thought the butterfly body was deliberate! This is the second rule of Art I teach my students. Rule 1-- You learn more by fixing screw ups than you do by getting it right the first time. Rule 2-- Make it look like you meant it that way. Rule 3-- Have a good story.
Okay, the downstairs kid has tantalized me. Not in that way, he’s like twelve. No, he’s been carrying around what I thought, from a distance, were strange golf clubs. Today we met out front and he said they were fire staffs and he was practicing tricks. Please tell me they’re for band! Our local bands are getting ridiculously competitive, but there’s no event coming up, so?

Well, it’s over. My Spanish grade was just posted. I got a B+. It’s mildly annoying that the only classes for this degree that I didn’t earn an A in were both Spanish classes. I will admit that I was a tad worried about this class so I can be happy with a B+.
why?

I did something to the tendon in my left hand. I have a brace and steroids, but it doesn’t help when I keep having to use it.

Quite possibly- I’ve not even finished the posters, and you’re the third person to suggest that already… and it’s in one of the dodgiest areas of the city… I’m banking on the fact that cough seeds are so expensive, no-one’s going to be bringing them (and they’re legal to have anyway), and what people do outside the venue is no concern of mine.
I’m confused today- I had a hot water bottle last night, and there’s a massive wet patch right under where it was this morning- but I can’t find a leak, and the stopper appears to be in perfectly normally 
It also appears to be as full as it was last night.
Before you say it, it was right at the foot of the bed, so unless my feet have nocturnal incontinence issues, it wasn’t me. And I don’t have a cat.
Anyways, I need to go get ready for the dentist- just a check up, and I’m sure my teeth with be absolutely fine- after all, I’m British
As long as I don’t call it a chicken heart, I guess I’ll be alright.
