Maybe I’m nuts, but there’s something about the Extra gum “angry gumball” that I really like. It may be the fact that I find the gumball “cute,” or that his angry little rap songs are actually kinda snappy in weird sort of way.
Everything about this ad series FEELS like it should be annoying, but it somehow makes me like it! Am I the only one…?
Nope. I even started a thread right after I saw the first one; voila.
Yeah, I love it too. I sing the songs with the commercials, and I will often burst out with “I’M AN ANGRY GUMBALL, EXTRA’S FLAVOR OUTLASTS ME!” at awkward moments.
Then again, I love all those commercials that should be annoying, like Verizon’s “Can you here me now? Good!” and basically anything with a catchy fun jingle.
