Amazon's 'the Boys' season 4 trailer just dropped

The fact that Superman can tear you in two doesn’t mean you’re particularly fragile. (See also “Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex”)

The satire is moving closer and closer to reality… anyone else catch the reference to Mike Lindell and pillows?

I caught that, too. I had to suspend disbelief that he could afford to be that picky.

I didn’t really understand why Annie doesn’t deploy her Starlighter powers in order to escape her captivity, and especially when she’s tangling with the Deep.

I’d really love it if Hughie figures out that “Annie” is the shapeshifter assassin because her lovemaking techniques are out of synch with what he expects, then on January 6, foils the assasination by smacking a canister of halothane over her face.

Her powers haven’t been working lately.

Huh. I must have missed that. What episode does it show up in?

Here’s an article about it:

So the last episode had been titled Assassination Run, but now the title is Season Four Finale for some totally unknown reason.

It only took him 20 times in 10 days to figure it out.

And two fingers.

Did Butcher take a fresh dose of V? He looked much more lively towards the end of the episode. Pretty sure his venom-like tentacles were responsible for the destruction of the stretch armstrong preacher.

Is anyone else thinking that FireCracker’s coughing isn’t because of the hormone drugs, but because of a much less conspicuous version of the virus (probably designed and produced by Sage) which she is passing along to HL via the milk?

I’ve wondered all along why Sage would get involved with HL and his people, and if she was smart enough to seem like she was going along, but really have her own agenda. This is purely speculation on my part, but I think it fits as a way to take out Homelander after Butcher inevitably fucks it up or dies.

Interesting appearance by the TK at the end. Someone with that level of power (and ability to be recruited) should probably already have been on the 7, don’t ya think?

Strong maybe.

The TK?

I assume that means telekinetic.

Yes, telekinetic.

Thank you - I thought the post was referencing Tek Knight, and very confused over what I had missed since he died mid-season and wasn’t all that anyway.

That was my immediate thought the first time we heard her cough. Thr virus part anyway (Sage being the cause, I hadn’t thought about, but it wouldn’t surprise me, as I said higher up the thread it’d be a typical writers’ trick to turn this into some sort of long con where she’s actually against Homelander in the end).

I had pretty much thought the same thing, though Sage’s potential involvement was something that I hadn’t already considered.

Is Sage aware that Homelander is getting breast milk from Firecracker? My first thought was that Sage was doing it in retaliation for Firecracker’s treatment of her, and Homelander would be just a happy accident.

Apparently all of Firecracker’s symptoms are real side-effects of using Metoclopramide to enhance lactation.
