Loved the Dexy’s Midnight Runners joke. Has Francine always been such a slut?
There’s been some evidence of her sluttiness in various other episodes. She did strip almost naked and dance around in Saudi Arabia.
I really think AD has eclisped Family Guy this week. I have long disliked Roger and Klaus in AD, but somehow this week every single character in the family got a storyline and it was entertaining.
Yup. There was an episode where she got mindwiped back to before she and Stan met and she was a total skank ho.
Not really a fresh story for Francine. We’ve already had the “Francine wants a job” bit when she was a realtor. Although I guess you could sort of call it continuity that Stan was opposed to her kiosk, since he already knew the shame of not earning as much money as Francine.
Was anyone else sort of hoping Klaus might stay in the new body for a while? Not permanently necessarily, but for a while?
Either that or a different body every week.
Stan was good, Klaus was good. Roger’s wolf pet and the werewolf side story was pretty flat and predictable, I felt.
I loved the part with stan in the parking lot.
I did like this part:
After nearly being impaled by part of the ice sculpture and being saved by his Flav-a-Fav clock, Stan says, “For the second time in my life, I was saved by hip-hop…but that’s another story.”
I didn’t know Klaus’ backstory before; I thought he was just a talking fish with an accent.
IIRC, he was a German skier in his previous life.
East German Olympic skier, to be precise (just in case you wondered why the CIA might want the brain of a German skier in a goldfish).
An East German Olympic skier. The CIA switched his brain with the brain of a goldfish so that the US could win the Olympic medal.
The parking lot bit was funny. As was the tree guy.
i did wish klaus would stay in a human body for a while.
This was the first episode that I thought was actually… Good. Most of them are passable. But I liked this episode. Was the parking lot bit with the music an homage to something? I really liked the music.
I think the parking lot bit was just a slice of life thing.
