American Horror Story --- WTF???

Since it is obvious that Vivian is carrying a demon baby, who thinks that she will still love and protect it when it is born? or will she try to kill it?

I think she will love it and turn evil…(following the theme of Rosemary’s Baby)…

My assumptions — implicit in my above comments — are, first, that whether a ghost haunts the house depends at least partially on whether she dies on the property; and second, that the physical location of the corpse has implications for how trapped she is. Being buried onsite seems to lock a ghost there, if the maid’s reaction to having a patio built over her gravesite is any indication.

But your supposition about onsite burial causing the ghost to age, or maintain its mortal injuries, is plausible. The house ghosts we’ve seen with injuries are (I think) Hayden; the doctor’s wife; and the sorority sister and nurse. Are the latter three buried there? (On the other hand, the high school shooting victims carried their wounds — I doubt they were buried at the school.)

I suspect any of the ghosts can walk anywhere on Halloween, until some point on the early morning of November 1. The one guy (from the murdered couple) went to bars; Tate seemed to go wherever; the maid went to the hospital …

Well, he has expressed some surprise about that. At first he seemed to take it as an indication of a renewal of his wife’s trust, and to question it would of course require reminding her of his infidelity. At this point I suppose everything’s gone to hell and it’s not at the top of things to worry about.

On Halloween, the dead can walk freely (and be seen) among the living. Haddy said that when she was talking about what kind of costume she was going to wear.

They were returning to the property because Halloween was over, so they can’t walk freely among the living anymore.

Hayden was arrested before the night was over. Once Halloween ended, she was no longer visible to the arresting officer. I think she was still in the car, just invisible now that Halloween was over.

I thought the intro of the first episode made it pretty clear that Addy and those two boys were not known to each other - at least not well, like brothers and sisters would be.

But the handcuffs were lying flat on the seat, with no wrists in them.

Also, if they were Addy’s brothers, wouldn’t they KNOW about the house?

Also, does anybody else think the dog really DID get microwaved and is now a ghost dog?

The sullen faces as they walked the streets at sunrise on November 1 was the perfect opportunity for “Hard Knock Life”.

As for the four children of Constance, I believe the conversation went something like (and I am really paraphrasing here):

Constance mentions she has more than just Addy.
Viv says “Oh how many!”
Constance says 4, but leaves a dramatic pause, or some look to beg the question…
Viv hems and haws at “Are they all…” but this was possibly accomplished with a questioning look
Constance says "Yes, all <something something that isn’t Down’s but intimates they are all somehow afflicted in the same way> except for one, he had his own challenges.

Again, I could be totally wrong about this, but I thought she basically hinted strongly enough that I thought they all had Down’s except for Tate, because that’s the moment I realized Tate was hers.

Absolutely, no question.

Or maybe the tomato will keep showing up at different places in the house, and then vanish.

I did not notice that, but with that said, then she must’ve returned to the house in a spiritual way instead of physically.

Yeah, I don’t think we’ve been told enough yet to guess exactly what the deal is with Constance’s other two children. But we’ve been told there was at least something wrong with them — Downs is a good bet, frankly — so I think they’re clearly not the twins. Modulo some behavioral problems-cum-delinquency, they seem like normal enough kids.

On another subject: are there any good candidates for the Rubberman? I just can’t imagine it’s Tate; it’s not Sylar or his boyfriend; and all the female ghosts are (presumably) out. It could be the doctor, but although he was clearly disturbed I don’t think they’ve said anything about him having a bondage preoccupation (or whatever).

Maybe Constance’s husband? I don’t think we’ve seen him yet as a ghost, and if he’s the reason Constance’s children all had issues, it could partially explain why Viven’s made the doctor (technician?) faint.

Maybe the Rubberman is just what he is? They want us to think he is somebody else, but he is just a evil rubberman.. who does have a zipper though to release himself.

Tonight’s episode…Tate shooting up his classmates was disturbing & hard to watch.

Didn’t Vivian think anything of them wanting her to eat raw meat? Please!!!
The patient of Ben’s who was afraid of the piggyman, bloody-mary, ect., cracked me up!

You know, i was thinking after watching tonight’s episode that maybe Violet is now dead (given what she did…sorry avoiding spoilers!). She had that really pale look when she’s cuddling with Tate that all the dead ppl seem to have (it’s really obvious right after the copycat murderers’ deaths and Tate, Moira & Constance stand together - you can see how brown Constance is compared to Tate & Moira!)

Just a thought though - don’t know how that would/could play out!

Completely hooked onto this show!

I was thinking the same thing.

This was the first time I did not finish watching the show. I turned it off after about 10 minutes. The school shooting thing is unacceptable as entertainment to me, it’s too tragic, too real. I just kind of watched and thought, ‘no, can’t enjoy this’.

This ep didn’t do as much for me as the others…

The school shooting was too long especially since it wasn’t much of a surprise.

The guy who was scared of urban legends was a waste of time …unless he comes back of course.

The reveal that Addy didn’t make it back to the property before she died wasn’t played up the way it could have been.

Hello all, I just joined this site specifically so I could get into this conversation on AHS. I’m a 46 year old mother of a teenage boy, retired from the Army, employed now by the Army as a civilian and I am HOOKED on AHS.

Regarding last nights episode and the shooting…while I think they drew it out a little longer than was needed, it did explain Tate’s story…and his SBC…what I dont get is why it was only the kids in the library who came after him on Halloween - shots were heard outside of the library…did whoever he shot out there survive? Also, the concept that Violet is now dead is a good one…but something that has always bugged me is how can ghosts move things, pick things up, etc? There has to be a whole lot of focus of energy for those things to occur…

And I am NOT liking this new “medium” character. I think she’s dead too, though.

Not to mention, BRAIN. Or was that a dream or something?

Cam!
