Indeed. A co-worker of mine auditioned in New York (East Rutherford, NJ, to be exact, but if the Giants and Jets consider it New Yor…I mean New York, then AI can, too). She did not sing in front of the judges but in front of other people. I believe it is the producers who decide who sings in front of the judges- some good people, some bad people for humor’s sake.
I thought she was really good and interesting. She’s different. Simon needs to stifle his impulse to put her in a box and just let her be versatile.
