I found it annoying that Kara criticized his accent. What does she expect in fucking Puerto Rico?
She really adds nothing to this show. She’s like an understudy Paula without the entertainment of the substance addictions.
I thought naked dancer was going to suck, but she’s pretty good. She REALLY needs to give it a rest with that “I want to uplift the world with my voice” bullshit, though.
The only fun with Kara is finding the hidden sexual innuendo in almost everything she says.
Yeah, Bald Girl was about a hundred times better than I was expecting!
As an aside, who does that “I believe in a thing called love” song they were playing to intro Jackie? And what’s it actually called?
I’m glad they put the cabaret guy through, just because Simon hates him so much.
That guy was hysterical. I want to vote for him.

I haven’t been terribly impressed this week; still waiting to see tonight’s show.

I haven’t been impressed one time yet for these auditions. Is another David Cook too much to hope for, or is this year just looking weak in comparison to him? I’m looking forward to Hollywood week and seeing whether we actually have any talent in the pool this year. Is it just me, or does it seem like the people they are putting through to Hollywood are more random than ever before? “Well, I didn’t like your voice or your song choice, but I’ll give you another chance. You’re going to Hollywood, baby!”
Do not forget bikini girl. If that set the tone for this season, we’re in big trouble.
Then again, giving the cabaret/comedian was the atonement for bikini girl, in my mind at least.
They seem to be pushing for a female final few.
I think blind guy will be a frontrunner. I have a suspicion that he’ll be really good behind the piano.
And there was Anoop something, the one who “studied BBQ.” I’ve looked him up on YouTube and he is really quite good.
Someone’s gotta get the blind guy a makeover, though. They showed a quick clip of him last night and he looked dirty. Clean that man up!
Ah yes, Bikini Bitch. I think I saw her smug mug in the Hollywood Week previews last night (can we start abbreviating “Hollywood Week”? I’m thinking maybe Ho Week. 
).
So…anyone wanna bet that 695 of the 700 “singing contests” Jessika Baier was in were karaoke nights at the Horseshoe Bar?
And the other 5 were between the ages of 2 and 4, when everyone loved seeing the cute little girl “perform”.
Cabaret guy totally played the judges. Amazing Grace, nice and reserved for the first verse, then let it all hang out, honey! Two snaps in a circle! I loved that Simon thought it was funny after complaining how he hates the comedians.
I’ve noticed that Simon hates mopey, sensitive, tender people* - call him an asshole to his face, and he bursts out laughing. He’s just calibrated differently than the rest of the world.
*ETA: Can’t blame him for that. The people he runs into in this show are all special little flowers that I’d like to slap, too.
