Their “hatred” is really just a running gag on the show. They are pretty good friends, actually. Didn’t see tonight’s result show, though, so I don’t know about the comments. Probably something mis-communicated.

The Usher song BLEW! Autotuned within an inch of its life, and Usher sounded terrible. The song seemed to go on (getting more and more boring) for about two hours.

Agreed. It’s very annoying. It may have started years ago as friendly banter, or a running gag, but I think it has evolved into actual hostility. Or, they are very good actors, which I doubt.
Nah, they get genuinely annoyed with each other but they’re friends. They’ve just gotten so familiar with each other that they’ve dispensed with the usual game face for t.v. that most people put on.
No surprises last night though Tim honestly should have been gone weeks ago. Pays to be a cute guy on the show.

I think it’s very disrespectful for the judges/show to ask a performer to sing for his/her life and then watch the judges laugh and joke around without seeming to even listen. I know there’s supposed to be a discussion about whether to save the performer, but WE knew they weren’t going to save Didi, so they could have just sat and watched her respectfully and then given her the bad news.
