I wish Ryan would stop asking the judges if America got the bottom three correct. He’s asked hundreds of times, and the answer is always the same “It’s hard to say man, you never want to see anyone go” or “These are all great singers and they all deserve to be in the top X” Other then Simon it’s always the same generic statement and I’m surprised week after week he keeps asking that same question.
The judges didn’t look surprised or upset in the least that it was Stefano. In fact, they looked like they agreed. I’m very happy he’s gone, he was simply awful. And the big, white tennis shoes will not be missed either, lol.
I’m just glad that Haley’s still in. I don’t see how she’s always in the bottom 3 and Lauren never is, but whatever.
Kept meaning to point this out. This is the first time since season 3, when they started this, that they did not make the seventh person choose between two groups. Last year, Lee DeWyze would have been the person asked to choose, except he stayed on the couches, looking like he was going to pass out, throw up or both, so Ryan let him stay there. Guess they’ve phased it out, and about time.
Oh yeah – I was waiting for them to pull that as well. Glad to see it go.
Making them sing after getting the rug pulled out from under them is bad enough. Although, I have to admit, I’m sort of looking forward to see how Jacob handles it. My guess is going to be, “Not well.”
I don’t know about that…he has to have gotten the message that he’s not well-liked by now. He knows he’s not going to come close to sniffing victory, so he’s likely prepared to go at any time.
Assuming he’s not completely self-absorbed and deluded.

Do AI contestants have access to the internet during the season? I imagine they must. I wonder how that affects them.
And if they do, I wonder if they have a firewall up to block things like VftW.

Woman singer <- Stop the ballads. You need to do different things if you want to stay in the competition.
Male singer after doing another country/boy band/gospel some <- You found yourself as a singer man. I love what you bring week after week.
They aren’t necessarily about the worst singer. Often it’s the most entertainingly non-marketable. The VFTW pick cannot be boring. They came down to Scotty and Casey, and picked Casey because he’s more interesting.
