Allison seems off tonight. She doesn’t have her usual power in her voice – a little better towards the end, but kind of lackluster in the chorus there. I wonder if she has a cold or something.
I wanted Allison to really hammer it tonight. I don’t think she did. Her limitations are becoming more apparent to me. I really want her to do well though.
Gokey was boring. Every reason that disco is in the past.
They think he’s more marketable than Adam. He’s more easily packagable (not to mention controllable…he has no individual creative vision or ethos they’d have to work with).

Danny…myeh. He can’t leave soon enough for me. The judges are so pimping for him. I just don’t see (or hear) it.
Adam is clearly in a league of his own here but I don’t think I’d buy his album.

I never would have thought that song could be done as a ballad. The arrangement worked, and his execution was flawless. Awesome.

Matt’s not exactly separating himself from the Timberlake comparisons with that hat.
I think he kind of shouted the song. He wasn’t very melodic. He’s probably one of the two that will be gone tomorrow.
Matt was awful.
I think this the first time I’ve liked Matt since Hollywood. I thought this was going to be awful and it’s really very fun.
I think this was Adam’s worst performance thus far. Those high notes were really screechy.
A Pool Addul?
The thing I notice about Adam is that his voice doesn’t go anywhere that he doesn’t want it to. He has incredible range, but especially control.
I must be in a bizarro world because there was nothing fun about Matt and nothing screechy about Adam.
Anoop’s doing OK. I’m not a big fan but this is decent.
