I’ve never been a ConstantCheese fan. I’ve not liked him since the beginning. He deserved to stay and annoy me far more than Scott does. This is just wrong.

Was it just me or was Seacrest admonishing people for not voting for Constantine because it was obvious to everyone that Scott should have packed his bags.
Scott sings pretty; He ain’t no American idol. I’m wondering if part of the reason he won was because he was one of the few who picked songs which mainstream American (e.g. not pre-teens) might have heard on the radio. No matter how beautiful the song, I think people are foolish for picking obscure songs (e.g. Vonzell a few weeks ago when she picked a Crystal Gayle tune).
Anywho. I know Abdul has claimed she’s not on drugs, but her emotional highs and lows are just not normal, IMO.
I tape these shows. I voted the first night I watched (ironically, for Constantine’s rendition of The Bohemian Rhapsody) but haven’t voted since. I know the polls open right after the airing; when do they close?
Nope, can’t see how Scott deserves to go before Connie. I like Scott’s singing voice much better than I like Connie’s. Scott is deeply creepy, but he comes by it honestly. That’s him-- he’s creepy. Connie was just some creation he made up on the spot. And I’m sorry, but that camera fucking Connie did was faaaaar more disturbing than Scott’s real awkwardness.
Still, how the hell did Vonzell end up in the bottom 3 and not Scott? If Pyle keeps on winning I’m gonna. . . keep watching.
Oh man! I thought Scott would go home, but I’m not at all unhappy that it was Constantine instead. That was some great television. From Scott’s bug-eyed expression to Constantine’s initial shock (aka paralyzing stare of death), I thoroughly enjoyed it. I know it’s terrible to say that especially since so many of you hate Scott. I’m ready for him to go home too, but not even that can compete with my loathing for Constantine.
Now imagine Scott doing that instead of Connie. Thats disturbing!
I’m thinking there is an organized plot to screw with the results of this show! And I am NOT paranoid. That’s the only thing that can explain how the voting has gone in the past three weeks.
But it will make people watch! FOX will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Probably when the black girl Treynece or something, got voted off and Elton John said it was because of racism. I’ve only watch weekly this season. Last season I saw an early episode here and there and then watched from about the top 11. I remembered Fantasia from an audition and I loved her there. I was thrilled when she won.
I don’t remember the year Elton John said AI was racist. Kinda stupid considering the track record.
I definitely know what you mean about camera fucking. I think it was definitely a detraction. Good looking guys are great to watch. Unless they know it. And then you want to see them get their comeuppance.
Though, FTR, I thought he was a fairly gracious loser.
Which begs the question: Have there been any non-gracious losers?
I am predicting the winner will be a white guy. We have already had a white girl AI winner, then a black guy, then a black girl. Since nature abhors a vacuum…

Like cricetus said above, I’m pretty much done with this show. I don’t even care for Constantine all that much but there’s no way in hell he should be going home while Scott gets a pass.
In one of the older AI threads, someone (sorry, I don’t remember who) posted a link to a site whose goal is to have folks call in for the worst performers. I’d like to think that surely there’s not enough people willing to do that but for the life of me, I can’t imagine anyone voting for Scott because they think he’s GOOD. He’s terrible!
These results are just pathetic and I don’t even think my enjoyment of watching Bo perform is going to get me to watch next week. And I don’t think my few dozen votes for him is going to make much difference.
If only it was that easy. We’re hooked, we can’t stop,even when we want to.
