HAHAHAHAA!
Part of me is like “Aww, he’s just a kid!” and that other part is like “I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU’RE CRYING.”
Ugh, Syesha. I really hope David C doesn’t cry, too.

Go away, Syesha. We all know you’re going home tonight.
Hey, might as well go three for three!
Its just us girls tonight, then?
Before tonight’s show, I watched last week’s “My Name is Earl” with Jon Heder from “Napoleon Dynomite”, so “Gosh!” was all I could think of when I saw David A’s hometown video.
And Fantasia? Shit, she is so over the top, I could bearly stand to watch her. That was the worst season ever.
Pillow fight!
I usually don’t watch Wednesdays. Have nothing better to do tonight.
Was that the same crying girl that was in the audience for Sanjaya last year?
Awww David C is so sweet. And cool. I’d love to have a beer with him. And have hot monkey sex with him.
Ooops, did I say that out loud?
HA HA HA! He AND his brother! That’s like four for three!
[del]Hey, can I come, too?[/del] Nevermind. Thanks a lot, Rachael.
Even though he cried. He held it back well enough so I can still respect him. I GUESS.
Chaka Kahn?
Indeed, strong men do cry.
I really hope David goes home. I can’t really put my finger on the why of it all, but I really cannot stand that kid. It’s the squinting and the breathing and the licking… the breathing. Plus I do like Syesha even though she’s so damn boring.
crosses fingers
Well… nevermind.
Yeah, not nobody looked the least bit surprised. Except David A., who I think would look surprised if you told him hamburgers came from cows. “Really? Oh my gosh. Wow.”
I keed, I keed.
Aww, I <3 Syesha’s dad.
You crack me up, Rachael.
It struck me again tonight how gracious David Cook is with his fellow contestants. Tonight when David A. was announced as going to the finals first, David C. was very quick to congratulate him. When the announcement was made as between Syesha and him who was going to advance, he hugged Syesha. He then put his arm around the younger David going over to the couch. David A. meanwhile just acted awkward. He didn’t congratulate or console the others. At the very end, after Syesha finished singing, David C. was applauding her. David A? Well, he just stood there. They have very different levels of maturity, both as people and as performers.
I wanted David A to go home too, but I knew it wasn’t gonna happen.
I hope he doesn’t win. He’s annoying, but he seems like a good kid, and for some reason I can see him five years from now getting arrested for drug possession or some other stupid thing if he gets pushed down the path of fame too quickly. Especially with that father of his.
Oh my gosh. Really? Wow.
David A’s first reaction to finding out he was in the finals appeared to be total panic. It was about fifteen seconds before he cracked a smile.
AMEN! I couldn’t agree more. Oh my GAWD.
Wait, what?
It’s hard not to compare Syesha’s departure with Brooke’s. My husband never watches Idol but the second TV was acting up tonight so he had to sit through it with me. He fell right in love with Syesha and thinks she’ll do just fine.
PastAllReason, good point, about the maturity levels. What a difference a few years makes in being able to think about other people at a time like that.
Anybody see any males in David A.'s hometown audience? I saw a few in David C.'s, but David A.'s seemed to be mostly really young girls. Who would a teen boy have voted for this season? Amarella? What the hell was her name? Miramele? Amelie?
