Man, I’m glad I taped this. There may be something wrong with me, but I thought Puck & Pickler was hilarious. Put that girl on a sitcom.
Loved the Brokenote Cowboys, too, and even Crazy Dave Hoover. The Golden Idols absolutely went to the right people.
I didn’t care for some of the guest vocalists, though. Could be just me, but I thought Mary J. Blige mangled “One.” I hope she did a better job when she sang it with U2. Toni Braxton could have done better too.
That geeky fellow’s admiration and copying of Clay Aiken was a bit creepy after a while.
Somebody brilliant on TWOP has discovered the problem with Toni Braxton and Taylor’s duet. It could have been good if it was real, but it was just Braxton-Hicks.
First appearance was mildly entertaining. After that, I’d have preferred hot pokers under the fingernails. She’s a rube from the country, we get it. Guess what else? They actually have lobster in North Carolina.
Wow… I wanted that famewhoring bastard “crazy” Dave to slip and break his neck. He wasn’t even an interesting spaz. All I know is that he prevented someone with talent from going to Hollywood and gave the audience absolutely nothing in return. Come on. Every high school in America has a class clown wittier and funnier than that jackass.
I thought Mary J. and Elliot did a fine job with “One.” One of the best performances I’ve ever seen on AI. Toni Braxton embarrassed herself with her “singing” - mumbling lyrics will not endear you to the audience, dearie.
What was up with the fake loudmouth Black chick? I caught the disclaimer in the credits stating that she was an actress imitating Peaches or whatever her name was.
I LOVED Puck & Pickler. That was super cute. If it was scripted, she did really good with most of it. And while I do know what lobsters are, I too would have freaked out at them on the table! I can’t handle stuff like that.
Favorite performance of the night was the men, followed by Paris and Al. I thought watching Kat & Meatloaf act out the song was…interesting. Everybody at my house kepting wowing Kat & Mama McPhee’s boobage.
I didn’t see the credits where it said that wasn’t Rhonetta, but I guessed it when they first showed her. I didn’t think it looked much like her. That just made me mad that they put it on there at all.
The Clay thing was fun, loved the cowboys. Loved seeing everyone again.
I’m so mad mad mad though! Tickets to the concert in my town sold out in the first 15 minutes, and I didn’t get any. I started calling first thing and it took me over an hour to get through. To make me madder, they were on ebay within an hour. I say that’s scalping an illegal. And it contributed to me not getting my tickets!
