I love Paris!
In her pre-song interview, Paris sounds like a five-year old. And those goofy-ass extensions make her look like she has some kind of developmental disability. Lose the extensions, Paris! They’re not doing you any favors!
Oooooh … here is the Paris we all know and love and so desperately missed! (Well, except she’s a little bit flat, but she is forgiven, because the extensions are gone and those shoes are hawt!)
I think Paris made it back to the promise we saw at her audition.
It’s like somebody flipped a switch and turned off the suck. The last three performances ahve all been very strong and I expect that Chris’s will be to. The good performers were really backloaded tonight.
The best I’ve heard Paris since the audition.
OK, chickybaby - gratuitous. Stop singing! Enough!
That was a weird song, but Paris rocked it well. But who dressed her like Barbie’s nightmare dream house? But impressive that she could move like that in 6-inch platform heels.
Simon is spot on. I was just thinking how it started off as such crap and now everyone’s great.
Except Ryan…
One consistency we can always count on.
Paula’s loaded again.
Higher Ground is a good choice for Chris.
Oooh… Chris… Now he can talk while giving me a massage…
But I think the music is killing his part…
Paris needs to pull a page from the Pickler book and learn when to shut up, great performance until that, though.
The music does suck, but not Chris’s best performance.
No, stop with the goat thing Chris! That was a lot of smoke.
Somebody called this song choice last week – and noted the Chili Peppers connection! Yay, whoever you are. (I suck, but I’m not lookin’ that shit up – it’s already past my bedtime, and I still have to watch the Race, dammit.)
Pssst! Don’t tell my husband, but I want to have Chris’s babies. NOW.
Of course Chris would pick the Chili Peppers song. The band sounnds pretty kick ass. I’m actually hearing some tasty guitar.
I think Chris was really just OK, though. Not bad bit not spectacular. The arrangement upstaged him a little.
Well now, THAT was a great performance.
It’s obvious that none of the judges know that the Red Hot Chili Peppers already did that song that way… they think Chris came up with that “interpretation” on his own.
Simon: “I hate when people do a karaoke version of a song…”
I take it Simon has never heard the RCHP version, then? Because Chris’s singing tonight was a total karoake routine.
Now is the time when I confess that’s the only version I’ve ever heard, and I had no idea it was even a Stevie song.
I don’t get all the complaints about the band. They sounded fine to me.
