Amy Winehouse is a very talented jazz and soul singer, born to a family with jazz singers in it. I particularily like her “Back to Black” song and video.

Seriously though I hope she gets through this with her health and sanity intact. This doesn’t strike me as being as one of those self-aggrandising “Celebrity Rehab” publicity stunts that seems fashionable at the moment. She’s got a great voice, and talent to spare, and I wish her all the best.

I hope she doesn’t emulate Hendrix, Joplin and the rest of the Stupid Club. Fight you silly thing! Sobriety won’t just come to you, you have to work for it, but it is very worthwhile. I hope hitting bottom for her doesn’t involve a coffin for her or her husband.
Well, if she did have a seizure at any point, it was probably smart to get a scan, and I’m sure that had to be done in a hospital. Hopefully she’s on her way back to the rehab facility now.
The article clearly stated that she has already returned to rehab.
