It started like an ordinary day, even having the regular closed stuff and some school closed stuff on the 100 Slide. Remember m telling you about Surepost, where Brown pays the USPS to deliver a lot of packages? Well the contract expired yesterday. So every Surepost package that had a good physical address was gonna be delivered by Brown, and anybody getting it sent to the Post Office/P.O. Box, and didn’t have a good address on file got it sent back to the sender. Of course that meant thousands of extra packages that would just automatically rout to the trucks going to the Post Office now had to have data entry for us to deliver. So I got sent to the Mez to help, since it was a disaster. Of course out of ten work stations only 4 were fully working, one had everything working but the printer, and one had everything working but the scanners. So I wasted 20min just finding the semi working station, and spent more time breaking jams than tying in all the tracking numbers. Then I got sent back to the slide, because there was no one there, so it went FUBAR, and the Senior Clerk had to come help me get it down. And just when I got it down, they sent hundreds of packages to the 100 and 200 slide to correct. Long story it was such a mess, I get to work tomorrow. Yay me!.
Frozen solid.
