Okay, fine.

The beekeeping wassail was on So I went. I like weird old traditions, and that definitely qualifies. It’s actually a condition of the land bequest that they hold one every year- for the next 1000 years at least…
I didn’t realise quite how long it’d take to get the car clear enough of snow to be able to drive it, so I got there too late to help with set up. Oops.
I was in time for hot punch and cake however, which is clearly the important thing.
Oh, and 7.30am is not late at all by my standards- I don’t voluntarily get out o’ bed until the morning’s had a chance to get itself sorted out. I got up about 9.20 this morning, which is crack o’ dawn by my weekend standards.
Happy sunday mumpers!

May be so… (my Yiddish is as good as my “real” German. I.e., chaloshes :D).
But I submit that Dry Bones is better than Lazy Bones anyway…
In Bobbio’s defense, getting up at 07:30 ***EST ***on a weekend sounds just about right to me…
***My ***timezone is GMT+2…
Blurf.
I still have to work on cleaning my room. I’ll tell the reason I’m cleaning it…later.
Mawnin all,
{{Bobbio}} sorry
Happy note the tape is pristine, literally looks almost new someone took very good care of it. I am stunned and think I found a place with the right deck, will call em tomorrow. FYI Ampex 456 1/2" x 2500’ Grand Master Studio Mastering Audio Tape. I think the tape itself is worth a small fortune.
Hope everyone is as well as they can be
Cheers
Jim
Ok it is worth a small fortune if you live in sub saharan Africa otherwise about $50, very valuable to me.

My guesses:

[li]Get rid of the evidence before the police arrive![/li][li]Make things presentable for a new sweetie!
;)[/li][li]The film crew from “Hoarders” has been peeking in you window in anticipation. :p[/li][li]You secretly love to clean. :D[/li][li]The monsters under you bed complained about the clutter.[/li][/ul]
Or not…
Most of the kitchen has had a second coat, all has had a first coat. I’m waiting till it’s time to put the second coat on the just-painted walls so we can start putting the room back together, sorta. Tomorrow, I’ll buy the assorted trim moldings we need and I’ll get them painted.
Now that the second coat has dried, we’ve decided we like the color, so that’s good. but I do think I bought too much. We shall see…
She has an elderly aunt with OCD coming to do an inspection.
Off to load the dishmasher, make a beastloaf, and do laundry. I know how to live large, don’t I?
Nah, it’s because I have a phantom piano.
I want to buy an electric piano and put it in my bedroom, but my problem is that I currently have no way of bringing the piano home, because the store doesn’t deliver and I don’t have a car. (I don’t know if the piano would even fit into a regular-sized car, or if the piano’s light enough that I could even get it in and out of a vehicle.)
sigh
Is this a test, like how to get the goat, the cabbage and the fox across the river in three trips? :dubious:
Why the hell would anyone want a fox?
Why would anyone want a cabbage? Cabbage stinks.
And I actually do know the answer to that puzzle. The answer to the piano puzzle is more difficult.
Home from deheathenization and have had N.O.L. OYKW has headed to his place to take care of some laundry. I shall head over there in a bit just cause. I may or may not spend the night. He has to irk tomorrow but I don’t even though probably will irk from the cave a little while.
That’s the big excitement from south Jawja.
You can make slaw out of it.
Or Moo-Goo Guipan, however Rosie knows how to spell it.
You take the fox and the cabbage across first, because the fox won’t eat the cabbage, and hope the fox runs away when you go back to get the goat.
every Moo Goo Gai Pan I’ve ever had has chicken, mushrooms, and mild peppers, but never cabbage. You’re thinking of Moo Shu
(never question a Jew on Chinese food)
Make friends with a very large, ugly fellow who has a truck.
Home Despot rents trucks for $20.00 an hour here. I suspect there are all sorts of other things they charge you as well, like insurance and stuff.
I want to get some of these guys, Tanganicodus irsacae for the Tanganyikan aquarium.
They remind me of Swampy, because they are grey.
Midget what are you getting? My little duplex has too much musical stuff, have a disassembled Wurlitzer in my kitchen, the road case for it in my bedroom, a Hammond organ, 2 tube amps, 2guitars and a Bass in my living room also have mics, cables and stands just about everywhere. I want a Nord C2 and a motionsound leslie but I think I will have to get rid of some furniture. Oh wait I also have another tube amp in the kitchen it needs an A6EU7 and it will work. Ok I need to get rid of some of this stuff. New band starts to practice next Tuesday. Sorry to blather on.
Jim
I have my eyes on a Korg LP350. http://www.archambault.ca/qmi/navigation/catalog/product_generic.jsp?lang=en&navAction=jump&id=ACH002642361&
I actually have a Hammond organ, but it hasn’t worked in years. Too bad. It was fun.
Cool!
How does it come to pass that you are called Midget in the MMP?
