An Impatient MMP

Blurf

I slept like hell, hell pup kept waking me up.
I feel bad but when she projected all 100 pounds of her fool self into my face this morning I knocked her on her butt. I was sound asleep and she scared the crap out of me.

I had to get up to meet a new puppy, but the condo tour got canceled. Just as well, I’ve been like a zombie all day. I decided while I am home I will get in 2 hours of work then back to client’s house.

I want a nap so bad but if I fall asleep now I won’t wake back up for hours.

Good luck.

Hoo boy don’t you know it, fortunately I live in Houston so there is one somewhere and I know how to clean it.

Jim

Ya know, we haven’t heard from Spidey today. Maybe he’s busy composin’ next week’s MMP.

It no doubt involves a deceptive, tangled web.

Ummm, see post 315.
Also do you really want to see “Swampy’s a PITA MMP” for a whole week?

we’ve seen worse…

eta - okay - that’s enough awake time. I’m going back to sleep.

Done painting for the night. Off to knit…

MWAH!

How do you say Lazy Bones in Yiddish?

Not much different than a 4 track deck, I suppose, but Job One is to get your hands on one.

Hopefully the tape hasn’t deteriorated too badly in those 25 years. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to play it once before all the oxide sheds, leaving a pile of irretrievable rusted music next to the capstan. You may want to look up “sticky shed” syndrome and hope that those tapes were stored as-played, tails out.

My cousin is in the very final stages of his battle with the Big C, and the end is near. It looks like I’ll be going to Indiana in the next week or two. :frowning:

Bobbio I am so sorry to hear that. Thoughts are with your family.

Wine and Ketal One Cosmos are a potent mixture when you are on weightwatchers and not drinking. This is me right now

Saturday has been a good day - Zumba then lunch out then a couple errands including buying wine. We have had grilled flank steak that I marinaded this morning with steamed broccoli for dinner. Tomorrow is stuffed cabbage rolls.

One more glass of vino methinks!

Bob, I was in a very similar situation two weeks ago, and can only offer wishes that their passing is comfortable and speedy.

We had a cousin who suffered primarily from Alzheimer’s, and for the past few months, they were just an empty shell. Once they went into renal failure, they lasted another week while medicated for comfort. :frowning:

BBBBobbio, so sorry to hear about your cousin, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I’ve been a little “under the weather” (24 hr. bug of some kind) myself, so just laying low. I had roasted veggies and rice for dinner tonight.

Anyways, things are quiet in Albuquerque right now, at least it’s not as cold as it has been. It’s too bad, though, that we have been so very dry. I seem to get along better in the dryness, well except for my skin! LOL I just slather on the vaseline, which seems to work better than any other kind of moisturizer, believe it or not.

I hope that everyone is staying well; please be cautious and wash your hands (boy is now the time to have OCD or what?!) as often as possible.

Up early - can’t seem to fool the internal clock, but that’s fine. I’ve fed the critter and taken her out a couple of times, and I’ve heard **FCD **hit the bathroom, then go back to bed, which is fine. I’m having a little “me” time before re-attacking the kitchen.

Daughter’s coming over some time today with Cozmo so the puppehs can have play time together. I hope it’s a little later so I have time to finish the worst of the painting. She’d planned to come today because we were going to be done - HAH! At least I’m done most of the pug-level painting.

And I bought too much paint - I’ll have an entire gallon unopened. What to paint… what to paint…??

I think I’ll pour me a Diet Coke - my caffeine level is pretty low.

Happy Sunday!!

Good morning! I’m not exactly sure that I slept last night because it was so windy here. Not sure what’s going on today, probably just some forking around and maybe walking around the track at the Y.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 42 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 68. Right now it’s misty/foggy out but supposed to be sunny.

{{{BBBobbio}}} your cousin, you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Today’s plans are deheathenization followed by N.O.L. at da cave. After that, well, not much. I do need to get steaks marinated as tomorrow night is men’s night over to the church house. Since I have tomorrow off, I have volunteered to be there early to get things started cause I’m all nice like that.

Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, purtification for deheathenization must commence.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

But I earned it. You’ve no idea what stress can do to an already damaged body. so Nyah! :stuck_out_tongue:

Tell me about it. Went to bed last night around 10, which is early for me on the weekend, and woke up around 0730, which is late by any standard. I was being a slug, and I don’t care. Looking forward to the after brekkies Sunday nap, too. :stuck_out_tongue:

No news from the family news wire, so Scott appears to be hanging on. :frowning:
