In case you’re wondering, Diet Coke does a great job of staining a light-colored carpet. I did a little searching and one site said spray-n-wash will take it out, and since I have some, I tried that. I sprayed the area well, then covered it with a wet towel and let it sit for a couple of hours. I just finished using the carpet cleaner, with cool water only, to scrub and rinse the spot. We’ll see how it dries. If needed, next step is oxy-clean.
**FCD **just called. He’s supposed to find out if they have any work for me tomorrow. Otherwise, I’m not going in. So we shall see. He was really thrilled :rolleyes: when I told him about the snow. He’s supposed to come home Firday, and I told him to come home later rather than earlier. Give the roads a chance to dry out. Of course, we may get nothing.

Don’t worry FCM, they’re calling for snow here tomorrow night which means I have to head out tomorrow to pick up stuff at Dad’s house. I also managed to promise pecans to **two **people so I also have to rake some up. :smack: This is going to be a whirlwind trip due to I don’t know when the bottom’s going to drop out of the sky up here. It’s also been *raining *the last couple of days so ICE. I’m more concerned about driving in ice than I am in snow. I’m sure Dad will understand why I couldn’t make the long (twenty-minutes from Doobie Brothers Town) trip to Saucy Berry to see him. Because ICE.
On the other hand, Milquetoast the Executive Housekeeper promised me banana nut bread if I brought her pecans so I shall do that for her.
I have accomplished a clean home. Now I scrounge up dinner.
