I’d give this a shot. I love finding a group of people in WoW that are mature enough not to spend all their time discussing whether Chuck Norris could take Onyxia.

If someone gets the guild rolling we need a way to let others know it’s ready (for charters and such) Maybe some secret message in Trade or General:
“Where are the Burning Dogs?” That will indicate people who are reading this thread at least

Hm. I logged in but I was unable to join in the channel. I think it had to do with me being on a ‘trial’ version, though I’m not sure.
Heya! I think this is the case - you can use the /say channel and talk to people in your direct area or talk to people who you are grouped with in the trial version - er but not reply or do certain channels I believe.
I tried /[channel number] [text], and it told me I didn’t have permission to speak.
So server is Cairne? Rolling Horde. Gotcha.

Yes, It is because you’re trial - you can’t trade with people either yet.

I’m on a trial version too, but it says I can only */tell *someone who has made me their friend. We trial folks can post our names here, and someone from the guild can friend us so we can communicate.
So we have some [del]propaganda[/del] loving pics of our guild, unfortunately immolate refused to show up well ont he mob so you get to be treated to a not so burning dog.

Oh and for election purposes the de facto leader is Frotty/Palooka (he made the charter) but I throw my hat into the GM running ebcause I’m a masochist with a napolean complex and enjoy tedious GM work.
Well that was fun, didn’t get much grouping due to slight variations in loging time, but ti’ll even out around the higher levels when everyone pretty is close to the same track.
To those on when I left sorry I didn’t say bye, my router crashed (again) while I was typing ym goodbyes in the inn.

Or I might start another toon. Or transfer the mage instead of the alchie rogue.
Given my play hours, there might be some of you “still on” by the time I am “already in.” 
Not too good for raiding, but heck, I just like a guild with a nice /g chat, you know?
Get at least one collecting profession, even if you plan on changing later; sell what you get, until you get your netherweave bags, even if what you are collecting would be mats for your crafting profession. Since I started doing that with my “baby” toons, I’ve been consistantly able to get them 3-4 netherweave bags by level 20 at the most, without hand-me-down gold from their elder sisters.
You just have to learn that second-best if often much better value-for-your-gold than top-best. Enchanted netherweave bags are only 2 more slots but the prices hurt.
I got a 70lock & 60 shammy on Amun thul. With the names tonedef & tondeff if anyone else who plays on the server wants to hit me up.
As for the straightdope guild, what server & who do speak to in game about it>

I had great fun - followed around a wise guildy in the newbie Tauren area. Taurens ftw!
