Go shadow then. Shadow priests are generally more sought after than holy priests at higher levels.
Not only that, but it’s better to have the crafting professions shared, so that one person doesn’t have all the rare patterns. It’s generally a bad idea to have one person be the main anything as if they vanish for a while, or straight out quit, you’re hosed.
ok here’s my list:
the 3 sister bloodelfs - Cliodhna/priest, Thvia/warlock, Visaria/mage
Orc hunter - Niobrara
Undead Priest - Mullo
I’ll probably play the hunter the most.
I vote family and close personal (read: real life) friends, though we may want a screening process for the latter.
I have a belf hunter named Ophielenis for alting (I don’t think my druid will be much needed, though I may level him just to have a good gatherer).
Chiela, tauren druid. Tailoring, and I can make linen bags. If you want a bag, send me 6 scraps of linen.
Stupid dyslexia. It’s /join sdmb. We have quite a turn out. More are welcome!
Well at least you didn’t type /join bdsm. That would be some REALLY bad dyslexia and a VERY interesting discussion in the channel.
Okay, I got started last night - Kene, Undead Priest. Got to lvl 7 in a little over two hours, so not too bad. I found out that starting a new character on a new server is challenging, because you’ve got 50 lvl 1-2 players trying to kill the same mobs and complete the same quests in the starting area. But once I got out into the world it was better.
I’ve got tailoring/enchanting, so I’ll let you know when I can start making bags. In the meantime if anyone needs a linen shirt…
Hmm, should I resubscribe? I am mulling it over now.
The reason I bailed the first time was specifically because I didn’t feel like I had anyone to play with. Even on “teh internets” I’ve always had trouble introducing myself to people.
There are a bunch of people in our (American) guilds that are playing from Europe.
Being new to WOW, I’m not really finding a Horde race/class I want to play yet. I’m on a PvP server to play with my son, but I’m not enjoying the PvP aspect. For the SDMB guild I’m looking for a less complex class than I’ve played in past games, and I’m not very twitch. Any suggestions?
Otherwise I was wondering what PvE server some of you folks are on. I’m going to make a Draenai Paladin.
Thanks. And I still don’t know what Burning Dog refers to.

Hunter. Playing a hunter well requires fair amount of finesse, but you can do an adequate job practically on auto pilot.
Hm, maybe a girly Tauren then. Herb gathering.
A gem from this rant against pet rocks… in a box… or something:
Not to mention an all-purpose panic button in the form of feign death.
I like hunters, I really do. I even married one. But lord do I hate that ability, and not just because of jealousy.
I’d say the same thing, but about a rogue. Rogue’s generally won’t have to do any CC during combat either.
That and ice block have killed my shadow priest so often its not funny. Anyone who raids with me regularly has heard the ice block/FD rant.
I’m officially a girly troll hunter now on Cairne, named OomBipBipYah. I thought it was a PvP server, and boy am I glad it’s not! Old folks will get the song reference.
Rogues are too clicky for me. It’s an easy class, but if you’re looking for not twitchy, I wouldn’t recommend it.
I’ve trained my Leatherworking up to a reasonable level. If you wear leather, talk to me in-game and I’ll fix you up with some new armor.
Hi, just spotted this thread. I’m assuming that the new guild isn’t all filled in yet.
I’ve actually started a couple of Horde characters, but without a guild lost interest fairly quickly. I’ve been fairly busy leveling up my Alliance level 60 elemental shaman, but if you can put up with my irregular schedule (sometimes playing all day for days on end, and other times not at all for a few weeks) then I’d like to join.
I’ll probably start another shaman (I <3 hybrid classes), no idea of race yet. My name, like all of my toons, will have “Risha” in it somewhere. I’ll give you guys a shout sometime in the next few days once I’ve created her.
