Wow, there’s absolutely no punctuation in that post. I’m guessing that it’s supposed to break down into two sentences. The second one is really only a subordinate clause, though. And the first one isn’t capitalized. Somehow, there’s nothing misspelled, which is a first for a bedboy post of this length.
As far as actual content goes, “go fuck yourself” is so uninspired and original that it can’t even be called a flame. As for the second part, you are wrong on at least two counts. First, among whom does this board have a bad name. Second, if that were so, I doubt Wally is at all to blame.
Go away. It took me two whole paragraphs to mention all the errors you created in 14 words. I would suggest that you try to find somewhere where you are liked, but I’m not sure such a place exists.

bed, I don’t know if you’re still reading this thread or not. Here goes anyway. I’m sorry to have used the newbie angle so liberally in the “quote” thread. I am not, however, sorry for any of the sentiments I gave you about telling me how to post. Your statement of “fact” about the quotes that, in your words, “annoy” you, was not a fact, but an opinion. On top of that, it was an opinion that you felt justified enough in expressing. Fine, great, have a ball. But don’t expect people to not respond with opinions of their own, especially after you’ve commanded people to stop doing something.
You know what? If you’ve been around here as long as you say you have, then you should know that sort of post, coming from someone who has not been around for very long, will be met with gentle chiding and derision at the very least. Your subsequent antics have not improved your standing in the least. Don’t complain that we just kick the shit out of you every time you post. I even responded sans flambe to you.
Regardless of what some on this board say, newbies are not attacked immediately. They’re attacked if they post idiotically or if they’re obviously trolls. My first post, IIRC, was to point out that this MB’s resident Prince of Darkness and The Evil Who Must Not Be Named were having some relationship problems. This post, while not being erudite or exceptionally witty, did show one thing-that I’d been around long enough as a lurker to know who’s who. My subsequent posting career included an episode of wanton flirting with DrainBead (which, admittedly, probably dropped my status by a few thousand points (hey, it’s the Pit, I can’t be completely nice)), the Burma Shave thread, several thrashings of MarkSerlin, and “Pucker Up, Ass Slammer”.
At no point in the past 5 and a half months have I been chased off the boards, accused of being a troll, or otherwise been considered a worthless bag of protoplasm (at least, to my knowledge, I haven’t). If you actually like this place, try laying off the stupid stuff and telling others how to post. Put up some decent topics, and don’t be a jerk about it.

Bed, even I learned a small lesson when I first came here in, what, January? I posted my “What the fuck is wrong with these homophobic bigots” thread fairly early in my tenure, and although some people agreed with me, some didn’t, and I was taken to task on my point of view. What evolved with a lengthy, intelligent discussion (in the Pit, no less). So far, I’m sad to say, we haven’t seen that from you… YET.
I believe you are capable of more, if you’d stop whining and start listening.
