Bumba these car cameras irk when the car is not on? That’s the one I need.
Tough choice so if I couldn’t get both I’d have to choose PAC.
Moooom, I’ve not shopped Lands End for polos, but have a couple of their tall man’s denim shirts that I keep in my cube at irk for chilly times. I’ll have to check them out.
butters, I may have to start a sketchbook for Mumper Women’s business to casual wear.
bowser, on the flipside, when I stopped at Kroger Sunday to pick up a twelve pack for my friend’s movers, the only cashier who was old enough to check me out had a woman ahead of me with a buggy piled high. She waved me in front of her and I was grateful.
The movie was really good. I cried in a couple of places and enjoyed dinner and conversation with some of my fellow heathens.
When I got home, I filled out an adoption application for a four year old chiweenie named Penny. Any Mumpers wanna vouch for me as a pet [del]slave[/del] companion?
Awwww Flytap. Hugs.
I already knew that one shouldn’t leave bones where the dogs might be able to get to them, and now Wife has learned that too. I don’t know if you learned anything.
I’m not the one with the camera, but I suspect it depends on how you acquire your power. If your car has a cigarette lighter that is powered when the car is turned off, you’re probably golden, otherwise you may have to do some creative wiring.
So you have to pay them? That puts a different complexion on things.
PacMan, definitely PacMan.
Red I’ll vouch for you, if vouch’n you need.
The damn dog woke me up at 5:30 this morning to go out. That’s 30 minutes before I need to get up. I guess it’s good she did, because once we got downstairs and out the door, she peed, pooped, and threw up. Better to get all of that done in one shot, on the outside.
The painter is still here; today, it’s our bedroom getting painted. All the paint will be finished by tomorrow evening, so next week we’ll have to order closets and bookshelves and whatever else Mrs. Bowser says we need. Oh, and light fixtures. Can’t forget the light fixtures.
Thanks to everyone for the welcome and warm fuzzies!
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work. Gonna go watch hockey after work.![]()
We really didn’t need a list of places you’ve picked up dates.![]()
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 63 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 83, mostly N.O.S. this afternoon and rain this evenin’. The rain will bring a cool down so tomorrow’s high will be today’s low accordin’ to TWPTB. We shall see.
Last night went great! We had a big crowd for Shrove Tuesday and lots o’ food so everyone was well fed. Da bear was tahrd when he got home last night. I thought I posted then, but apparently not. I barely remember goin’ to bed and wakin’ up at some point to go pee.
Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent. I want to go to the noon service over to the church house but that will depend on when whoever is showin’ up from DirectTV shows up. The big receiver is not workin’ and couldn’t be fixed with a phone call, so this necessitates a service call. I’m told someone will be here between nine and eleven this mornin’. If whoever shows up early enough I can make the noon service. If’n not, then the six-thirty this evenin’ service it will be.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should purtify so as to be able to properly receive the DirectTV person.
Happy Hump Day Y’all! To those who observe, A Blessed Lent.
We got rain last night, which is good. I’m sure the Amish farmers are happy - I’ve seen them out in the fields with their teams plowing ahead of planting season. I was wondering if the mild weather will mean early corn this year. There’s a 50% chance of rain today, so there’s a 50% chance of me getting my walk done.
My in basket is full, plus I was left a note to update 2 more drawings. I shall be busy today!!
It’s a good week, fiscally. My retirement pay was deposited yesterday and tomorrow is real payday. YAY! We can pretend we’re rich for a few days… till the mortgage payment is sucked out of our account.
Happy Wednesday!
Well, that was quick and go ATT and DirectTV! I got a call at seven forty-five askin’ if it was OK to come between eight and eight-thirty which of course it was. Guy shows up just after eight and was outta here before eight-thirty and all is good.
Getting stuff together for the swap meet part of the No-Coaster event; we had a lot of amusement park shirts get to the “tired of that one” stage this winter. Also have some Dept 56 Halloween stuff we want to put out for trade. Getting all that stuff together and getting ready for Saturday has a slight inspiration level going. May head out for ashes; may not. Missed all the pancake dinners yesterday because of work.
::Quarantines Butters::
She touched Flytrap ::shudder::
My only fear with the Pac Man suit is that it will just look like a patterned suit unless one gets up close. Iffn Imma gonna wear something so totally hideous such as that, I want everyone to know it & realize it right away. :dubious:
So you’re shopping for halloween costumes eight months early spidey? I guess it’s better to beat the rush.
I slept in and am having a weekend brunch on a Wednesday. Once that’s cleaned up, I’ll purtify and go in to the 'Boro and shop a little before getting the new airbag installed in the car.
Busy, busy morning, and I decided to skip my walk because it just looks icky out there. And I am a delicate flower after all… So, lunch! YAY!
busy, 1st of the month. will be burning the midnight oil, maybe. Read later. Just saying hello.
I had the opportunity to wear this for Halloween 2015. Iike this one because it’s truly garish both up close & at a distance.
I am mildly surprised that you don’t have a Spiderman suit.
Howdy Y’all! I got ashed and then came back to da cave for nappage. Nice service and well attended especially for a noon service.
flytrap Spidey does have a Spiderman suit. That’s what he looks like nekkid.
Oh, thank so very much for that mental picture, swampy; now I need a whole new box of brain bleach.
Did my budgets and financial figures for the first of the month, and also cleaned up my password list (amazing how many passwords we have, if you stop and count them all). To reward myself I went to Five Guys (missed my February visit; so this counts as “almost February”). Came out and got in my car just before the weather hit, drove home in deluge/thunder/lighting/winds/hailstones…in other words, it was not nice. But it blew through fast and the rain had stopped by the time I made it home, albeit the temperature had gone from 71F to 59F in an hour or so.
And that’s enough adventure for me today, outside of collecting and putting the trash out for Thorsday’ pickup.
