According to USA TODAY, Cooper wants to keep his image as a straight news guy on CNN, so he’s off THE MOLE III. Replacing him is. . . huge gulp!. . .Ahmad Rashad. Can you say “jump the shark?”
IMHO, Cooper was an integral part to the mystique of THE MOLE versions one and two. He’s easy on the eyes. He’s got a commanding presence, but he’s snarky enough to toss a few zingers when the going gets boring.
I love THE MOLE, but I don’t like Ahmad Rashad at all. Conflicted! Conflicted! Oy!
Is it just me, or has the phrase “jump the shark” jumped the shark? For chrissakes, “The Mole” has only been on for 2 seasons!
And yes, I do think Rashad will be a vastly inferior host to Anderson. But then again, I still wish Anderson was doing World News Now: the graveyard shift ABC news program that incorporated all sorts of jokes, pranks, and lightheartedness for the amusement of insomniacs everywhere.
Darn it!
Naw man, World News Now jumped the shark when Mark Mullen and Asha Blake left. 
Ought to at least make it interesting to see how he will mention his good friend Michael Jordan in every episode.
Oh no. Whatever you do, don’t tell Sapphire Bullet. She loves Anderson like nobody’s business.

Over at TWOP, they’re saying Rashad is only signed up as host for the upcoming celebrity edition. I hope that’s true cause I won’t be watching that trainwreck anyways.
I will never stop crying. Now I have to watch <GASP> CNN to get my fix. I guess I could mute it.
