Angel - Peace Out

Look there is no “side”, I just asked him to be considerate with final episode spoilers, which is no less then what the Mods have asked as well. Not hard to miss, as its a sticky after all.

It’s ruined now, thanks alot!!

To say that Angel “changes locale” implies that something drastic will happen; something drastic of which previously I was unaware.[/quote[

But this isn’t even a spoiler, it’s pure speculation.

Then why preface your comment about the change of locale, etc. by saying “I know a bit about the finale”?

Look, is it really so much to ask that if you’re talking about something that hasn’t aired yet that you put spoiler tags around it? If you’re not willing to do that then maybe you should just not post it.

I’ll be sure to tag everything that’s even questionable from now on. But I also don’t want anyone to continue to give themselves the false impression that anything I said has spoiled them. The reason I didn’t tag is because I didn’t think anyone would seriously believe that those things were spoilerly in the least, precisely because they are exactly what this season of Angel has represented. If I hadn’t put in “I know a little bit about the finale” no one would have cared about what I said before or after seeing the next ep, especially given that my “bit” is the Tvguide blurb. So no, you’re not spoiled, but I’m sorry for making you think that you were.

the post being argued about implies that somethng drastic will happen… something drastic always happens at the end of the seasons… remember doyle in the first series and cordy in the last series, come on its not like we didnt know it was gonna happen…leave the guy/girl alone…

Nitpick: Doyle got killed in the middle of season one, not the end.

Good episode!

I was surpised at Connor’s action re Jasmine. I don’t get why/how/when his attitude toward her changed. Unless it’s that he decided this was necessary in order to protect Cordelia?

Well, thanks a lot for spoiling it! What’s the point of watching it now? :frowning:

Yes, I don’t think Apos has spoiled anything, therefore a spoiler box was not needed. :stuck_out_tongue:

See, I stopped watching the Guest Stars ever since, er, well, I think it was the season finale of Buffy last year. I spent the whole first part going, “Okay, where’s Giles? When is Giles going to get here?” so that when Willow got knocked across the room, I immediately knew it was him. Kinda took the edge off. So, see, when Lilah showed up, it completely knocked my socks off. I totally expected it to be Cordelia.

Though it was cliche, I enjoyed Connor’s monologue in the church. Kartheiser is really starting to sell the character. I’ve never been of the Connor-hating brigade, but I never really felt love for the guy, either, at least, not until Cordy went evil. All of a sudden it seemed like Vinny got some acting chops, or a better part, or something, and I really began to enjoy his contribution to the show. He still needs a haircut, though.

Anyway, even though I am completely not spoiled, I’m hoping they take a cue from season one and BLOW STUFF UP in the finale. Like, I don’t know, Los Angeles or something. Of course, they probably still wouldn’t talk about it on Buffy.

I actually, expected to see Cordelia DEAD, Connor having killed her so that Jasmine would be powerless. That would have fit in with Wes’ thoughts earlier in the show, and explained Connor’s dead-inside mood when he showed up to kill Jas. Of course, he was killing his daughter, his entire purpose for existing, so I could see how that would make you feel all dead inside too.

I wonder if Cordy is even going to wake up this season at all?

ok i heard this story and dont know if its true although parts of it are…
in the end of the series, Buffy manages to make all the slayerettes into real slayers, she does something with a sword, then they all go and try kill this first evil, xander, anya, willow, dawn n spike all go along. they do battle loads of the slayerettes get killed, anyway all sorts happen, in the end, anya gets killed, (she ruled out the possibility of returning to buffy so they killed her off) half the slayerttes get killed, sunnydale gets swallowed by the hellmouth, spike gets caught in there but later turns up in la, dont know what happens with willow and xander(assume tho there both ok) and the episode ends with Buffy leaving on a bus and getting out of whats left of sunnydale. thats what i heard… and from the fct that lots of ppls think buffy and angel may team up at the end of this series, maybe shes off to LA to help out angel on his whole mission etc. just a thought. probably wrong. but is the start of this even remotely true does anyone know? a friend told me she read it on a site somewhere and we cnt find the link…

What the hell does any of that have to do with Angel, Delly?

And, just so the rest of you know, inside Delly’s spoiler box up there are MAJOR spoilers for the season finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, including things I very much did NOT want to know.

[angry sarcasm]Thanks, Delly.[/angry sarcasm]

I’m with you ** Fiver**. I thought it was an Angel spoiler. As I’ve read all the angel spoilers, I didn’t think looking at it would be a big deal.

But I’ve been deliberately leaving off the last Ep of Buffy cause…well, it’s the last ep of Buffy.

Please post a warning when you do a spoiler like THAT. Yikes.

For once I managed to actually watch the episode the night it aired, and I still didn’t get around to this thread. Oh well.

I loved this episode. I would go so far as to say that it’s one of best I’ve seen (so far.) I like episodes where you don’t see things coming at all, which pretty much summed up the entire second half of the episode; at first I was totally confused by the loss of Jasmine’s powers, then death, since it’s the second to last episode and I couldn’t imagine what the finale was about, but I see from the teaser that Josh is going the route Charmed did for last season’s finale, so it makes sense. And they brought back one of my favorite bitches, who hoo!

hey… u were the ppl who said the two were gonna be linked this season, not you 2 specifically, but others…and heck once u realised it was a buffy spoiler, u could have stopped reading…
like i said i dont know if its true and eh it was a spoiler box for gods sake what more do u want flashing lights and neon signs?! and i think ul find the angel bit right there at the end… unless ye need the neon lights flashing at that to

Hey, if she wrote in the spoiler box the same way she writes in normal posts, I’m impressed you could understand it well enough to get spoiled.

Cheap dig Miller.
Understand that?

Expect a lot more digs, Delly if you insist on posting like that. ‘Round these parts, we appreciate punctuation and capitalization. And spell out “y-o-u”. It’s only two more letters, it’s not that frickin’ hard.

Well, you used proper spelling, punctuation, and capitalization, so yes. Keep up the good work!
