So I finally got around to watching last weeks Angel and, well, if you’ve seen it, you know what I mean: is Wesley dead?
A few other things (mind you, I don’t check/subscribe to BtVS or Angel sites, so if this info is out there, i don’t know about it):
Since the demon that is Angels sworn enemy is a time/dimension shifter, is it possible that what Angel does in the future, now that he hates the guy, is what leads him to become the sworn enemy?
Connor is in another dimension, what now? Was that part of the prophecy?
2,b) WRT the prophecy- IIRC, it said “the vampire will consume the child” or kill or something like that, the prophecy itself didn’t say that the father would, that was the interpretation of it. Since the child is born of vampires, wouldn’t it have it’s own little baby vampire and couldn’t that be the vampire that would consume the baby?
Wesley: Probably not dead. His house is less than a minute away from the nearest emergency room.
Sahjahn: Sahjahn is an idiot. Powerful, sure, but dumb. I think he showed up to soon, which is why Angel doesn’t recognize him, but the guy is either too dim to realize it, or too embarassed to admit it and try again in five years.
Prophecy: The actual prophecy was “The father will kill the child.” Pretty straight forward, which is why Wes got all freaky. Since time move differently in other dimensions, there’s a good chance an adult and pissed off Connor will make an appearance by season’s end to try and put the smack-down on Dad.
Don’t you get it? Sahjann IS Connor. Holtz survives a few years, calls Connor by a different name, says it’s Angel’s fault he’s in this hell dimension, and bing bang boom you’ve got a guy trying to plan his own death to get revenge for being sent to live in hell.
Well, i was hoping there might be a a clear sign that this is the case, maybe that Holtz named Connor “John” or something (Sahjann sounding similar-ish) but scanning the transcript , I guess not.
Barbarian: I doubt that. If Sahjahn want to kill Angel for abondoning him in the hell dimension, he’d hardly have been surprised when Holtz jumped in carrying the baby. Plus, he wanted the kid killed. Seems an awfully convoluted way of committing suicide.
There’s something you people seem to forget. Holtz said he wasn’t gonna tell Connor about Angel. So why would Connor wanna kill Angel if he’s not gonna know about him? Of course Holtz isn’t the best person to rely on but Angel let him take Connor and Holtz did try to kill Angel many times.
Slight hijack here but has Angel been moved to a new time slot? because Angel wasn’t on last night.
The Giant Hamburger Guy said that the Vampire would feed on the child. or something like that. Angel DID feed on Conner. His blood was in the pigs, remember?
We aren’t getting Angel for over a month. I think 5 weeks was the time given to us.** thinksnow** must just be lucky. May I proceed to be very jeaous?
Ermm… some of us don’t live in the US and hence don’t know that Wesley’s dead… we’re up to episode 3 in Australia… so… could you not put spoilers in the thread title please?
the next time we see Conner he will be grown. And he will probably hate his father and attempt to kill him. And Angel will have to defend himself and kill his son, fulfilling the prophecy.
I’m with Matt, here… us Aussies really don’t appreciate unmarked spoilers, ESPECIALLY in thread titles. I have eps through other sources, but even I’m not this current, so I’m a little peeved right now. Could ya at least tell me this is some kind of sick joke? I was just beginning to like Wesley, too… he was getting kinda cute 'n stuff.
MattTheCroc and Living Dead Girl, rest easy. I agree the title of this thread was ill-considered, but it’s also wrong as far as any of us know.
Not to spoil you much further, but we saw Wesley receive a serious wound; we did NOT see him die.
Maybe he will die from the wound, but we don’t know that any more than you do. I’m guessing he won’t; we’ve seen Wesley receive serious wounds before and recover from them.
Nevertheless: shame on the OP for this thread title! You know better.

Figuring the ep. was a week old, and therefor not a spoiler and not having spent much time actually reading Cafe threads, I forgot that some of y’all are a lot more behind. Sorry.
It’s not as bad for me, as I’ve managed to see up to “As you were” for buffy and “Couplet” for Angel, so I can generally take most spoilers about this season. At any rate, some other inconsiderate buffoon already spoiled that particular tidbit for me somewhere else… so I actually don’t really have any grievance against you… Well… I had a bad day yesterday…

I hate to be a typo ogre, but Spolier? Is that French? And what’s up with your Once and Again thread title? You misspelled the same word three times in two thread titles. That’s impressive.
(Actually, it was probably a mod what misspelt this thread title, but I’m not about to make fun of a mod.)
