Questions:
What proof does anyone have that she’s lying about her sexual history?
When has she ever claimed to be promiscuous?
Why does adopting children make her evil?

Then why are you slandering her and accusing her of being a liar and an adulterer with absolutely no evidence?
Pitt said that she refused to sleep with him when he was still married to Jennifer Anniston. I don’t think you have any grounds to accuse her of being dishonest.
Angelina Jolie is rich, famous & beautiful. Therefore, there must be something “wrong” with her.
If she’d claimed a long & lurid sexual history, the jealous ones would be calling her a “slut.” Since she says she hasn’t had that many lovers, she’s obviously a liar. (And a slut, too.)

I repeat: This does not jibe with any interview she’s done in the past ten years.
Either she was lying before (in her young and spirited wild child days) or she’s lying now (in her grounded earth mother family phase). My money’s on the second one.
How about citing an interview in which she ever claimed to have had more sexual partners than what she’s claiming now. I’m not buying it.
What do people mean by this “earth mother” smear? Is there some reason to believe she is insincere about any of that?
I really don’t know what’s funnier:
a) the fact that a group of people usually so quick to call “Cite?!?!?!” will take this particular claim from an interview I certainly can’t find anywhere (google gives me many sites that mention this interview in UK Cosmo, but no actual source) as the gospel truth
b) the fact that a board that likes to pretend it sneers down it’s nose at the exoteric media choices of the unwashed masses clearly loves to dig in this dirt
c) or the fact that the usual “girls who hate pretty girls” arrived so quickly to talk trash about Miss Jolie.
Angelina Jolie is better looking than any of us. She has more money than any of us. She’s obviously having better sex than any of us. Yet, she also does more good - even if it were only through donating money, which is only part of it - than any of us.
So, clearly, we should talk shit about her.
You want me to dig through decade old copies of Entertainment Weekly, Cosmo, People and TV Guide? No fucking thank you. The fact that so many people remember similar claims from Ms. Jolie seems to support this idea that her promiscuity is well known.
Personally, I believe she’s very sincere about it and I respect her quite a bit for it. But the “earth mother” descriptor is also easy shorthand to distinguish between this part of her life and her wild child days.
I have to say, I don’t remember her ever implying that she has been promiscuous. She has been fairly forthright about the level of sexual activity within her relationships (the one with Billy Bob being the one I particularly remember), but not that she’s been with a zillion people. I think she’s been a tad bit TMI about it (I remember one awards show where they were just all over each other, and made broad implications on the red carpet that they had done it in the limo on the way there…a little tacky, IMO). That has maybe given people the impression that there was more going on in her past than there actually was.
…and since she hasn’t slept with me, she’s a bitch, to boot. 
In all seriousness - why wouldn’t I believe her? (We’ll leave the question of “why would I care” for another time.) I know, personally, plenty of beautiful sexy women who don’t get laid nearly as often as their reputations would lead one to think. Hell, I used to be one of them - the “slut” of high school when I was, in fact, a virgin* (and not an “everything but” virgin, either.)
And, just because I’m so desperate to have something in common with Ms. Jolie, I’ll also add that after my “slut” persona in school, I’ve also settled down into being a very happy do-gooder Earth Mama. So it’s entirely possible. Whether or not it’s true in Ms. Jolie’s case, I leave to people who care about her vagina more than I do to argue over.
*Just to quell any cyber-stalkers who want to “catch” me in a falsehood - I’m using “virgin” here to mean “one who has not engaged in consensual sex”, not that I’d never been penetrated.

The “Earth Mother” nickname, in itself is no big deal, but I do see a lot of people disparaging her for her philanthropy, implying insincerity and criticizing her for adopting children (which for some reason makes her evil because, I guess, she couldn’t possibly really care about them or love them).
I became a lot different person once I had kids than when I was in my 20’s too. Parenthood changes people. Having said that, I still don’t think we have any reason to believe that AJ has a “wild” sexual history.

Going along with GuanoLad and Dio to some extent, I’ve got to say that my impression (no cites, sorry!) has always been that she’s been wild with the lovers she’s had. I don’t recall ever hearing or even thinking that she’s been with a ton of guys.
Don’t get me wrong; I still think she’s crazy. But I don’t have any particular reason not to believe what she’s saying now.
I don’t give a flying fuck how many children she adopts or whether she’s sincere about humanitarianism. Why is she talking about her sex life at all??? The problem I have with celebs like her is that they are always complaining about how the paps invade their privacy and misconstrue their statements…right before they set up special photo ops with their kids and give interviews discussing their sex lives! Jesus Christ, give us a break!
