What if she said “conservative blacks are so much better than liberal blacks”? Would that have been OK with you? Because that is exactly what she said. I noticed that part of the “. . .” in your quote includes the term “our party,” which shows that “our blacks” means “blacks that are members of our party.”

Like Phil Ochs sung long ago “some of the best negroes are our friends”. The racism has not left that thought process, nor has time changed it. Coulter is still being a racist cunt, but she is too stupid to even know it. I guess when all you do is insult, insults sound like conversation to your own ears after awhile.

She also ranted a bit that Democrats claimed Republicans are opposed to Obama’s health care plan because Republicans are racists. Never once have I heard these two ideas linked.
I think it’s more calculated than that. I think Coulter knew exactly what she was saying and what the reaction would be. She says stupid things like this because she knows that people will condemn her for saying them. And then she uses these condemnations of herself as evidence that she’s “riling up them liberals” and taking the fight to them. The worst thing liberals could do to Coulter is ignore her because then her supporters would figure she wasn’t doing her job.
