But that isn’t what she said. She implied ownership of the blacks. That she’s too stupid to understand that’s what she did doesn’t change that.

Language matters, and if people are too niggardly with their words to avoid those tar babies in conversation, they’re going to find a lot of people uppity in every conversation they have.

In addition to being a complete attention whore, our adorable little Ms. Coulter is also, let me remind everyone, a lawyer. As a rule, lawyers are trained to use words very precisely and very carefully.

An attention whore lawyer almost certainly chose those words with the explicit intent of generating this type of “outrage”. And it worked, at least to the extent that this thread is a reflection of the outrage.
