I always felt kind of sorry for her. She didn’t seeming cunning, just kind of dumb and naive. Maybe not, but it seemed that way.
She was like that girl that always tries to fit in with the popular group, but misses it, her clothes and stuff never quite matching up. She was just the epitome of the stereotype of “trailer trash”, but never seemed to get it, even though she tried.
I just always saw her as someone people laughed *at * instead of with.
Conspiracy theory!!! Larry Birkhead is the father of the baby but Howard K. Stern is listed as the father on the birth certificate. If the paternity tests show Birkhead is the father then Birkhead would be entitled to a chunk of Anna’s money if anything happened to her and her son, Daniel. Stern killed Anna’s son Daniel and now has killed Anna and thus would have to be the guardian of the child. This would make him the heir to Anna’s money!
That’s my bet. Son dies while Anna’s asleep and ‘husband’ is visiting. I’m really wondering where he is this time - anybody see a statement yet? Anyone seen anything to indicate that anybody knows where he is?
Lord, what critical piece of info didn’t get lodged in your brain 'cause you knew that!
I do feel sorry for her, and she’s my age and I’ve been feeling very mortal these days- so this kind of shook me, in a weird way.
Sigh. I might as well admit to watching her show on occasion. What I’m thinking of right now is an episode in which a hick, I mean truly hick, cousin of hers came to the house to apologize for an interview she’d given in which it appeared that she was bashing Anna. The cousin insisted that she’d been given leading questions and quoted out of context, and I’m thinking, “Well, she wouldn’t have been the first person to be jerked around by a reporter, nor the last.” Anna must have thought the same thing, because she accepted the apology. Which I thought was cool, because clearly she didn’t think she was better than her roots.
I never was able to bring myself to snark on her. I look on her the same way I did Elvis: How would any of us act and live if we had that kind of money? We’d like to think that we’d furnish our homes tastefully, live heathfully, and generally be sophisticated and discreet. But when you can do whatever you want, it often comes down to junk food, a great sound system, a sweet ride, shag carpeting…and drugs.
