Congratulations … he’s gorgeous! Enjoy each and every stage of his life. They’re all neat in their own ways.
He’s beautiful!!!
Gotta watch that fountaining though
Typo Knig tells a story he heard from his grandmothers. Grandmother A was changing him while the grandmother B was standing near his feet, reminding grandmother A about the tendency to pee mid-change.
Sure enough, he peed.
And the stream shot up and hit grandmother B.
Cute kid! Congrats! I love the shot of him all wrapped up like a baby enchilada.
Thanks for posting - I was thinking about you a couple days ago, wondering how things went.
Your son is absolutely gorgeous, and may I say you look much too good in those photos to have just undergone major surgery!
Enjoy the sleeping while you can. They usually get over it!
We need to set up a dating service for all the Doper babies. That way we can breed a third generation
Adorable baby!
Congrats! It was somewhat surprising to recognize one of the pictures, as I know your husband from other websites. Funny how online communities intersect.
Congratulations! smooshes baby
(I love how totally unimpressed Matthew looks in some of those pictures. “Life. Don’t talk to me about life.”)
Aww. What a cutie.
He is gorgeous! (But you knew that).
You look great!
I cry very easily under the best of circumstances. For several weeks after each birth, I was a hormonal, emotional disaster area. It does pass!
Congratulations, and enjoy your baby.
Yay!
I think I’ve been reading too many of the crunchy-mama links ShadiRoxan sends me… as I read that it was “Scheduled C-section BAD!”, “Breastfeeding GOOD!”, and now I have a compulsion to recommend cloth diapering (cough-FuzziBunz-cough).
Good luck! I don’t generally think newborns are much to look at, but you appear to have gotten an authentically cute one.
Yay! What a cutie. And hey, GO BEARS!!
What a gorgeous boy!
Welcome Matthew
Congratulations on your new baby. You’ve reminded me of an incident with my now three-month old son. Our first kids were girls and, after getting peed on a couple of times, I got in the habit of laying a washcloth over them while I grabbed diapers, cream, whatever. I thought I was a smart and experienced dad with this one and did the same thing. Unfortunately, I laid down the cloth without checking which way he was ‘aiming’, this time when he peed he got himself in the face and I wound up bathing a very unhappy baby :smack:
Very cute baby, Congrats!
What a beautiful family!
Read to your children every day and enjoy them!
The diaper changing video is great & the kid’s hung like… oh, that’s his umbilical cord.
(Joke stolen from Robin Williams. Sorry!)
Anyway, Cute Baby! Congrats!
He’s marking his turf, and biding his time until he can walk unassisted. Then he will complete the project by destroying everything within reach, and some things you would have sworn were out of reach.
