WOW ! Thanks Mr er, um Manservant Hecubus. Yes people, almost two years and 2000 posts (Well more posts than that but you know how that post housecleaning thing went ! ) ago the one and only Lioness/Ayesha (Thanks again for the name idea Uke Ike) found the SDMB and she still hasn’t left.

Congratulations, Ayesha!

I recently found myself in Texas (much to my surprise) and quite coincidentally there was an Austin DopeFest. I was thrilled, primarily because I wanted to meet Sapphy, MaxTorque, Ms Robyn and…well, YOU! I was thrilled to be able to meet the first two, and severely disappointed that the last two of you couldn’t make it. I also got to meet some wonderful people I had never really had the opportunity to interact with, and I appreciated that very much. But…

Well, anyway. I have a great deal of respect for you, and I hope to have the chance to meet you someday.

I hope you don’t mind that I use your thread to mention that I got to meet one of my favorite people, purplebear, on this trip. Hey…no WAY was I going to come all the way to Texas and not meet my beloved Karyn! And JimB was kind enough to make that happen. For anyone who wonders, she is even better in person than she is on this board.

Anyway, Ayesha dear. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you one day. You have courage, beauty, honesty and heart. The world needs more Ayesha’s.
