Howdy Y’all! Dindin has been et. Folks came over to eat dawgs, scramble dawgs to be exact. I always include shredded sharp cheddar cheese and relish on mine. If you have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ as we pretty much always do, sliced jalapenos are are really good as well. Also, just serve ‘em on a big ol’ plate. One does have to eat 'em with a fork as they are messy but oh so gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!

Not only did I chomp my tongue up badly today, but I was just playing with a cat, and I got deep scratches on two of my fingers, which I bandaided. Ouch.

Since it’s going to rain, guess who is voluntarily sleeping outside in a tent tonight… I didn’t PO VWife. I’m back to planning the 3 day backpacking trip that was put off by her spring concussion, and now I’m planning on doing it the last week of September. I figgered with the sure-fire rain in the forecast, it would be a good time to test the waterproofing I did on the tent earlier this year.
I’m listening to Wikipedia now. There’s a website that makes Wikipedia edits into music. I love the sound when a new user joins, though you don’t get to hear that often.

Anyway, my mother’s gone back to her apartment. When she got back, she angrily called my father and demanded that he get me to apologize for being rude to her on the phone earlier in the day. *(I *was rude to her?) Anyway, I called my mother back and tried to apologize, and then she accused me of saying things I didn’t actually say, and I protested a bit, and she fucking HUNG UP on me, and didn’t answer when I tried to call back.

It’s not morning. But morning was blurf, during which I drug myself out into the back yard. Now I have a list of things that are done, including (wait for it) dragging everything out of the room off the garage, sorting through it, reboxing it, and organizing it so that we know which boxes to go through for what.
There’s also a bunch of boxes and bags that got recycled, stuff that got thrown away, and a stack of things ready for the donation to the thrift store. I feel so virtuous.
And I know it’s late, but: (((Midget))) Hope things get better.

Thank you very much, I will get me to Dollar Tree for a corkscrew so that the wine can be sipped. LOL I was trying to think of how I wanted to put that, and I was going to use “imbide” but the word editor is giving me the red line for that, so I must have mis-spelled it. Oh well, it’s wine to be drunk!!! Or it will be once we get the corkscrew.
I’m up late tonight because I want to watch “Car 54 Where are You?” on ME TV, it comes on in a few minutes. Yes, the show is ridiculous but it’s very funny at least to me, and I enjoy watching it when I can. Toody and Muldoon. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. LOL

I survived the night in the tent, in the rain. There was some leakage, the worst of which was at the door and coming through the zipper. Not a lot I can do about that. I was dry and comfortable in the middle.
Listening to the rain hit was a pleasure, too.
It’s raining here - a nice steady shower that has been coming down for some time. It may have stopped and started, as I was hearing it in the wee dark of sleepy-time, but it’s definitely raining right now, and cool.
Today’s a non-crabber day, which is fine. I always check to see who’s going out, and so far, the only one today is the guy I got yesterday, so I wouldn’t be monitoring him again anyway. Not that I’ll be lacking for things to do today…
I’ve got a pile of towels ready for trimming and hemming. I’ve also got a t-shirt to stencil and stencils on 2 towels to set with heat (yay for the new iron!!!), plus I started a hat last night and I’ll finish it today. When I deliver the 2 towels tomorrow, I’m taking the hat over to see if they’d like me to make some for sale. If not, no biggie - it’ll go to the shelter that my mom’s AARP supports.
That will make for a fun day of indoor activities! Plus I need to make sure I have presentable clothing for my interview on Tuesday. I’m good on pants - black jeans will work - but I may need to iron a shirt. I don’t think my Freakin’ Ray of Sunshine t-shirt will make the right impression.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffienated and cookin’ away! ‘Tis a quite pleasent 71 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 85 and rain. Right now it’s not rainin’ but it’s on the way by late mornin’/early afternoon.
The ham is almost done. I got up at five this mornin’ to get it started. I say almost but it’ll be done at eight o’ clock. Not too shabby. Then I shall bake the pineapple casserole whilst I purtify for deheathenization. The green beans are cooked and just need to be heated up. The rolls will need to be baked just before eatin’ time. Cake got made yestiddy as well as the Bloody Mary mix. I shall get OYKW to slice the ham so’s it’ll be easy to heat up as well. I feel so organized and efficient!
Ok, I need to feed rumbly tummy. Da cave smells all hammerific and tummy rumbles have been triggered big time.
