There’s a lot of reasons why this happens. Perhaps it’s the theme song to a show, an anime, or movie you don’t want to admit you watched/enjoyed. Maybe it’s so musically simple you feel it’s not worthy of respect. Or maybe it’s a song everyone else hates, but it just works for you. Outside of food, and certain songs, I also admit that I have a sneaking fondness for various “OP protagonist” wish fulfillment stories. Yeah, they’re geared at people decades younger than I am, but sometimes reading a classic about some punk ROFL-stomping legions of goombas is still fun.
