I’m going to take a wild stab in the dark and bet that you are one of those who think sex education shouldn’t be mandatory and/or thinks it should start later 6 years old.
Most of them really think that, because that’s what they teach each other, and they tend not to do a whole lot of [del]independent research[/del] googling. But someone, somewhere up the “informational” food chain most certainly knows the truth and chooses to mislead his flock. Most of the posters I’ve seen feature pictures of fetuses at least a month older in gestation than the explanations claim, sometimes two. Those are clearly designed to fuck with your emotions, otherwise why be dishonest about gestational age?
The doll is labeled 10-12 weeks. Here’s what an actual 10 week fetus looks like, if anyone’s interested. I think it’s fascinating and amazing and cool, but no, it doesn’t look like a miniature full-term baby. 12 weeks is a little closer to the truth for head/body and limb proportion, but the facial feature development on the doll is still 6-7 weeks ahead of reality.
If one is possessed of a macabre sense of humor, a fun use for those fetus dolls would be tossing them randomly out the door of the Planned Parenthood clinic during an anti-abortion rights protest. :eek:

Well, life begins at conception and all that…but I’m guessing that passing out week old toy embryos would has less of an impact.
I’m thinking I should just back it all the way up the the gametes. I’m going to create a children’s game called “Don’t Spill the Seed”. Little plastic sperm would be shot out of a little air gun and everyone would scramble to put them into the plastic vagina in the middle of the room, the only place god intended them to go.
The little foam fetuses would also be perfect for a game of “stone the sinner”. Children would take turns being “it” while others pelted them the fetuses. Safer than actual stones.
