Publicity stunt? If so I hope it’s to make her more likable and not seem so above the law. If good Ol’Dad couldn’t bail her out, - or didn’t - then maybe she wants to appear more human, and less of a face.
I doubt this is true. She was caught pretty red-handed, and then violated her parole twice. Not much leeway there.
Really? why would she do that?
I thought that the judge’s original ruling made it very clear that she did not have the option of going to a pay jail?
There’s a joke about a new line of accessories for Jailbird Barbie in here, but all I’ll say is: a year or more might change her outlook. Even six months might change it. 23 days–the rough equivalent of three weeks? I really, sincerely doubt it.
Of course this is a publicity stunt. 25 posts on this message board alone about her being in jail is way too much publicity for a woman who has no skills, no talent, and no brains.
It seems that that for those who don’t like Paris Hilton, the best way of getting her out of the limelight is to stop paying attention to her.
This won’t change her a bit. We’ll always have Paris.
What if she converts to Islam, and becomes a radical fundamentalist?
What’s to change? It’s not like she’s O. J. or anything.
She’s rich as Croesus, and she likes to party. When I was her age, I liked to party too, and I’d still like to be rich as Croesus.
The main thing wrong with Paris is that people envy her. They feel that they’d be much more qualified recipients of unearned millions. I’m not sure that’s her problem.
From where she stands now, maybe discovering a cure for all cancers and a vaccine for HIV, she might earn a lil respect.
I agree with this- its easy to say you would be more like Angeliona Jolie with your millions than Paris Hilton, but maybe you would have a wild time for a while first.
Check out Paris’s mug shot. And, apparently, her shrink makes jailhouse calls.
The horror! The horror!
I was surprised to learn, by watching a certain video, that she has at least one skill.
And being Paris Hilton, it is not something she HAS to do.
She’ll become a passionate advocate for better prison conditions. Her motivation will probably be just to clean up her rep, although she might be sincere. In either case, this will not change most people’s opinion of her. However, to her admirers she wind up almost as well-regarded as Princess Di.
You read it here first.
This is all one could reasonably hope she’d change. After all, getting drunk isn’t illegal, it’s driving while drunk that is, and then violating the parole you get for the DUI, which prevents you from driving. If she’d just get a chauffeur, she’d be a hazard only to herself when drunk, and that’s good enough for me. I don’t know why she insisted on driving when she didn’t have to anyway.
She is inconsequential, even by celebrity standards.
She has no talent.
I hope the cameras turn off, soon.
