Any good tv shows starting soon?

I’ve only been watching Deadwood and Entourage for a while. Prison Break season 2 premiered a few days ago and I was wondering what’s next?

I have middlin’ hopes for Jericho since it will star Gerald McRaney, who has said he doesn’t care what kind of roles he gets, as long as the writing is good. Jericho probably won’t compare with Deadwood (what could?). But I like post-apocalypse stuff, and I think this’ll be a first for TV.

Don’t know when it starts. Wednesdays at 8 CST on CBS.

Weeds, on Showtime, is great. It’s on episode 3, season 2 now I believe.

What about Lost? When does that start?

Nip/Tuck is coming!

Nip/Tuck is coming!!!

Can you tell I’m excited. I can’t wait. There’s waaaay too much time between seasons for this show.

Nip/Tuck is coming!!!

Since you have HBO, do try to get into “The Wire”.

The only thing on networks that has captured my interest for the fall is “The Nine” which they’ll be pairing with “Lost”.

Although, I gotta say the racially divided Survivor might bring me back. I haven’t really watched that show since Season 1.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Aaron Sorkin’s blending a bit of both Sportsnight and West Wing to create something whose weight and mood nestle nicely between the two. I got the series pilot through an exceedingly clever promotion via Netflix, and it confirmed that all commercials for the show are complete crap, but the show has definite potential.

The teasers have me thinking that Heroes on NBC also looks promising. The early days of evolutionary super-powers? Cool.

There’s a new one coming out with John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor fromArrested Development coming out that looks like it could be really good. Both those actors can be very very funny, I am hoping that combining them will produce great results. And the show seems to have a good premise:

Did I mention it was coming out?

I am also wondering how Tina Fey’s new show will fare.
