Any idea why I can't select any of my own text in a post or reply here?

I was trying to write a reply to another thread when I discovered that I was completely unable to select anything I wrote, say to copy and paste! It’s true that I’m using a different browser (Chrome) than I have in the past here (Firefox), but I’ve never seen this behavior on any other site, even with Chrome. Any ideas as to why this is happening, and only happening on the Straight Dope?

I’m running 64-bit Windows 10 (1803).

Note that I can’t select anything in this post also.

I have this exact problem, but on Chrome. I just thought TPTB were making my life ridiculous.

It’s a problem in the latest Chrome update. Check out threads in ATMB for further discussion.

You can fix this by changing theme from Sultantheme to SD v3.7.3. Selection is at bottom of page.
