Any Interest in a Naked Daniel Radcliffe Dopefest?

I just want to make the people who are going to be in NYC on Sunday Spetember 21st of the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Annual Flea Market & Grand Auction. It’s held every year, it’s for a good cause, and it is lots and lots of fun.

Linky-poo

Oh man, am I jealous :frowning:
I’d love to be there, but just can’t afford the plane ticket at the moment. Have fun, and when come back, bring reviews!

On a related note, I saw the last half of My Boy Jack the other night. An interesting flick about Rudyard Kipling and his son who goes off to the trenches of WWI. It’s the only thing I’ve ever seen with ol’ DR.

Okay, I have officially started seeing tickets for sale for as low as $66.50. I will email everyone who wanted to go with this link and to nail down a specific date later today.

In case anyone was wondering, I have sat in the last row (Row L) of the Mezzanine at the Broadhurst before and the view was fine. It’s a smaller theatre so the $66.50 tickets are a good deal.

How are we going to do this?

Are we all going to pay one person and that persone buy the tickets as a group? OR will we just be scattered throughout the theatre?

How big do you have to be to get a group discount?

You have to have 10 people to get the group discount, so unfortunately unless 4 more people decided they would like to with us we are missing out on the group discount.

If we want to each buy our own ticket that would leave people open to sitting anywhere in the theater but we wouldn’t get to sit next to one another. If we sit together everyone would have to find a way to pay one person ahead of the ticket purchase but we would get to enjoy the show as a group. Whatever works for everyone else works for me. I just did a quick check and for 6 tickets for the 8 o’clock show on Saturday, Sept 27th the total cost after fees and everything would be $443.50, which breaks down to $73.91 per person. (This is not including Auto who mentioned he might like to go but isn’t sure if he will even be in the country at the time.)

Would Saturday, Sept 27th work for everyone or do we want to pick a different date?

That date works for me.

Is there a discount for over 10 people? I was just checking out Group Sales info on Telecharge.com and it seems like they charge more for large groups than for single tickets!? That can’t be right. Not that it applies to us anyways, since you’d need to have a lot more than 6 people.

Works for me. I’d check the matinee prices too, as they might be cheaper.

The date is OK for me.

I can put people up for an overnight stay as long as you don’t mind a cat and you’ll probably be able to touch my light saber. (especially if you’ll dress as a Nazi).

Okay, we are seeing the 8:00 show on Sept 27th. I emailed everyone and only got a response from Anaamika so she and I will be sitting together at the show but everyone else appears to be purchasing their tickets seperately. If you wanted to sit with us as a group send me an email and I will give you my address to send the money for your ticket and add you to the group purchase.
