I suspect you need a chuckle or laugh so I will offer one at my own expense. I am so very dim at understanding posters names that it wasn’t until I read this thread that I caught on that your user name was Leaf Fan. I guess I just took it as some unique name for someone named either Lea or Ann. And then I read this thread and gather you are actually a guy.
I will admit I rarely look in the Games forum and almost never read sports threads so I guess that’s an excuse. :smack:
Thanks, and even I am not happy with my username. It was chosen on a whim, and I’ve thought of changing it (which is aloud) but at some point posters talked me out of it.

At the risk of FTT, in his latest post (which will soon disappear) he’s making the following claims.
This might help us identify the root of his problem.

- when he bans me says i am cute
- he has many accounts
- he is a racist
So, Leaffan, are you a moderator on ANY forum?
Did you ever ban someone, and say they were cute?
Or maybe it was Jonathan Chance who said he’s cute.
I suspect that the guy is confusing him with someone else. **Leaffan **is hardly a unique name on the internet.
If you do, just change it from “Leaffan” to “Leaf Fan”. Easy Peasy. Routine Poutine.
It is a bit unusual, but I’d be surprised if it was entirely unknown.
Awhile back I had a PM troll urging me to commit suicide - so over the top that honestly I burst out laughing. The mods took care of it for me. So yes, harassment of individuals does have precedence here, although the public nature of this outbreak is new to me.
Maybe over the top for you, but for the wrong person on the wrong day it could have been bad. What a jerk to do that.
I’ve never seen one both so persistent and so inane going after a poster (rather the board in general).
The insults are also often homophobic.
It appears to me to be a child. Completely naive vocabulary.
I’d use a stronger word than “jerk”. I may have laughed, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t serious.
There was, of course, additional things like body-shaming, sexual insults, and so forth involved, many contradictory. It’s like the person was throwing random things at a wall to see what stuck. They clearly had no clue about the real me and were just making assumptions based on the fact I was female and had a relative commit suicide. (Yes, there was also a one blaming me for my sister’s death, too). It’s like it never occurred to the person that I might, in the past, been insulted by someone else or heard certain particular objectionable words.
And yes, for the wrong person on the wrong day it could have been a terrible thing.
Sorry to hear that. People suck sometimes. 
Agreed. Usually its been a several posts spread over a week or a flurry or 5-10 in a couple hours. I’m pretty sure we’ve never seen anything quite like this. And for some reason I don’t get a feel its someone who knows LEAF from here (one of us) or really much at all. I don’t know if we’ll ever know much of anything about it all but there is almost a general vandalism feel to it all.
