Well, yes, but that’s just standard practise for trolls. They send things like “u r so gay u fag” without necessarily believing the target is actually gay.
The accusation that Leaffan banned him is somewhat less usual.
I’m thinking this. Just trying to sow mistrust, exasperation, and fear in the board in general, perhaps…all the more effectively (potentially) because it SEEMS directed at a particular poster, without an obvious cause, so any of us “could be next.”
Sounds a bit like the next tactic someone might try after giving up on inane, rude political shit-stirring — those couple of jerks (or one jerk with a couple of names) in the impeachment threads a couple weeks ago. Whether all of this is coming from the great country occupying northern Asia and easternmost Europe, who knows?
Perhaps halt new users for a couple days?

The mods do, since they can see the IP, which can be disguised, but we have smart mods. But perhaps the less discussion we have about this in the open, the better.
Removing all posts by one poster along with banning is a simple op, if I remember my vBulletin manual. Which I didn’t read, of course.
They mentioned some limit on the number of posts they can delete at once that way. Plus they probably want to remove all the ‘reported’ posts.
I’m not sure it’s worth reporting more than one post for this moron who keeps using the same name.
