From what I understand, the girl involved in the affair that led to the infamous “full frontal nudity” picture a few months back is the girlfriend of one of the band members, so that’s the connection. Not sure why it needed to be posted like that, though.
So wait, the chick who was sending Rollins half-to-full naked pictures and caused the whole snafu is dating one of the band members…and it’s ROLLINS who’s banned?
Figure you’d wanna ban the chick
Think about that a little more.
Well obviously dude isn’t going to ban his girlfriend
I’m just saying there’s a bit of a shift in blame there
Wasn’t she one of the NXT potentials who hacked into Seth’s Instagram or something? Damn, that bitch be psycho.
I’ll be driving home from vacation, so I’ll likely see it Saturday night or Sunday.
If this is NOT the way it goes down, they need to take Vince and Kevin Dunn out back, shoot them in the back of the head and leave them in a Japanese dumpster.
no1curr.
Until Vince is willing to give up the reigns of the Diva’s division, like when Finlay was running it, it will continue to be a long, slow suck fest, and not the kind anyone would enjoy.
Unless Kingston has been vocally bashing Vince’s racism back stage and his contract is up soon, this makes no sense in any universe.
Well, I would have thought the same about his feud with Bray Wyatt, but VINCE.
PTP sits on commentary and attacks to No Contest the match. That’s the only purpose to this match.
Someone pins Barrett.
Gosh, amazing how that carries them right to the end of their TV deal and all their talent will be gone!
Had the wonderful flash-mental image of Dixie’s smiling, disembodied head being whipped around the whirlpool of a drain.
IIRC, she was sending him nudey pictures, and he was keeping them/wanting more.
Rollins’ Fiancee opened his twitter (I doubt “hacked” since they were together) and saw that he was, if not physically at least emotionally, cheating on her with nudey pictures of a girl
Then she goes “oh, you want naked pictures? I got your naked pictures right here!” and posts them in sweet sweet revenge.
Which actually would probably be considered revenge porn, and thusly maybe illegal, but that’s a conversation for the political people
I don’t get it either. Maybe Kofi is super over in Japan for some reason? IIRC, Brock’s new contract only requires him to fight four or five times a year, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense for this match to be against someone who’s way out of his league. Nevertheless, the Tokyo crowd is going to pop big for Lesnar.
This is basically just a house show that was accidentally decided to be televised, so it doesn’t really matter who faces who tbh.
I figured that Kofi’s speed and aerobatics was a good counter to Brocks giant-monsterism and it would be a fun match
Geez, has Cena’s Springboard Stunner ever looked natural? Every time I see it, it looks clunky and unnatural, and hasn’t ever been hit right.
Everything he does looks clunky and unnatural. He’s strong, he’s got stamina, but he’s definitely not graceful.
Anyone here watch American Ninja Warrior? Or the original Ninja Warrior for that matter?
I used to watch the original back on the G4 days, and Ms. Cups loves the American one and we watch it together.
What WWE superstar do you think would have the best chance for completing it? My money is on Rollins, but I think Kofi would probably do well too
Any other takers?
Rollins is into crossfit, so yes, definitely.
Maybe Kallisto? He’s insanely agile. Neville and Kofi as well.
Lots of stars from LU could. Johnny Mundo is into parkour. Prince Puma, Fenix, Angelico, Jack Evans, Aero Star, and possibly Cage.
If anyone is interested, Paragon Pro Wrestling, a Las Vegas-based indie league, is going to be having its nationwide TV debut this weekend. It’s in a dead-air time slot (6 AM on Saturday morning) on a channel nobody watches (PopTV, which is the latest incarnation of what used to be the TV listings channel way back in the day). I know pretty much nothing about the league or its roster (although I’ve read that Gangrel and Matt Striker both wrestle there), but I’m probably going to check out at least the first couple episodes to see if it’s any good.
Not only do I not watch it, I can’t even receive it - in fact, part of the deal between my TV service (AT&T U-Verse) and CBS says that PopTV will be added “sometime in 2016.”
So, we now have a date for Takeover 6: NXT Takes Manhattan; Saturday August 22nd. And even more surprisingly, it’s going to be running in New York City, at Barclays Center, the same arena that’s hosting Summerslam the night after. Barclays has a maximum capacity of nearly 20,000 for wrestling, so this is easily the biggest venue for NXT to date.
Tickets go on sale two weeks for tomorrow, so if you’re anywhere near the New York area you might want to check it out.
ahem…it’s NXT takes Brooklyn.
I need to correct you or the hipsters will ironically talk about you
Called Jericho-Neville. Neville got Vinced.
And of course, an event totally advertised around Brock Lesnar needs to put him earlier in the show and main event John Cena. :smack:
Apparently Balor went over Jericho the night before.
In general, you’ve gotta remember that this was a house show that just happened to go out on the Network; house show booking rules apply. So faces tend to go over–or in the Jericho/Neville case, “fan favorites”. Neville just doesn’t have the fanbase that Jericho does, and certainly not in Japan. They still got plenty of time and protected his finisher, so it’s not the worst thing ever.
Same thing with Cena main eventing–he’s still the face of company, so he’s going to ME house shows he’s at. (Now, Kane, Barrett, and to some extent Ziggler… but he’s gotta beat somebody up, and KO probably isn’t really in the mood at this point…)
Great match between Balor and Owens, in the obvious statement of the night. ![]()
Paragon Pro is a half-step above the local independents. The show looked like it was taped in a High School gym with plenty of empty seats. Gangrel was there, Striker could have been any of the several short guys there, or an announcer, I was listening or watching closely. Looks like they’ve got a mix of guys between eighth decent and quarter decent wrestlers. Seems like at that early hour they’ve bought the time themselves, I don’t think Vince is losing any hair over this.
