WWE barely uses what it has. The only ones who get anything are the champion and the current challenger. But the same could be said about 90% of the entire roster.
My only problem with these callups is that these women had better take a good look at Dana Brooke and do everything in their power to develop and show personality and ability, because their career is on the line here and development time is over.
That’s a bit unfair to the other girls because Dana Brooke is godawful in every way, shape and form.
I like her shape and form…
Oh, you probably meant as a sports entertainer.
She looks like a muppet
What the frak is happening with the Network these days? I had some long pauses during Survivor Series and some comically low resolution at points, but I have not been able to watch NXT all evening. I get 6 seconds, then a 10 minute pause, then 30 second, then another 7 minute pause. Garbage!
Hmmm, it appears that the Dish Network-CBS dispute includes Pop network, so I’ll just have to read results to find out who ends up wearing the Turkey suit this year…
Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
We’ve always had problems with the network. The newest thing I had was watching the newest NXT regular episode yesterday and it froze, but then when it reloaded it started playing the Almas/Drew championship match from Takeover. So not only did it freeze and jump it took me to an entirely different show
I feel obligated just to bump this so it doesn’t come off the page
Well, here’s something interesting - Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks are planning on financing and promoting an independent supershow, sometime in 2018, for which they hope to sell out a 10,000 seat arena. If they can manage it, they’ll be the first non-WWE promotion to put on a show that big in the US since the end of the Monday Night Wars, and they’re apparently far enough along that they’ve started scouting venues.
They’ll have to pretty much book the indy equivalent of WrestleMania to get to 10,000 butts in seats, but maybe if they can get Daniel Bryan it could be done.
Attendance for RoH shows averaged 1105 the first part of 2017. Smart marks aren’t that plentiful.
Well, they won’t do it by bringing in “Legends” like Hulk or Beefcake or all the other old has-beens.
Maybe they can talk CM Punk into making an appearance. “Remember, we’re not WWE!”
lets hope its not another “heroes of wrestling” fiasco
Ha. I rather like that stat. Just proves that wrestling is a gander and WWE is the goose. And what’s good for the goose is good for the gander
Does Impact’s segue music sound like a sped-up version of Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This to anybody?
Yes, that’s the most interesting wrestling topic I can think of currently.
John Cena needs money? This article says he’s being sued for selling a special edition Ford he purchased. It says he sold it to pay bills? Really, the guy’s not swimming in money? If he doesn’t want the car he couldn’t give it to Nikki or Brie or DB or someone? I know it’s just some article about a lawsuit, could be nonsense, but does anyone know if he’s overextended?
I dunno, unless he put all of his money in a trust that Nikki can’t get at, he should be swimming in the stuff. He’s making $10-15 million a year.
Looks like Anthem/Impact has given up on the legal fight with the Hardy’s over the Broken gimmick, so the Delete motions Matt did after the Wyatt match may finally be leading somewhere.
Apparently Anthem has now done a complete reverse, stating all contracted performers will be allowed to use Impact-developed gimmicks elsewhere.
