Gosh, those vanilla midgets sure can put on good matches, eh? 
I admit, I popped for Candice La Rae showing up.
Pretty much every match in Takeover was great (Sorry Dream and Ohno, you don’t get to play this game) but pretty much every match had an absolute shit finish.
A distraction rollup, a lucky pin after a too-long-and-fake-looking armbar sequence, a regular pin after a regular DDT (granted it was a DDT, but still) after a slightly too long (but amazing) match? I felt so entranced during the matches only to say “ugh, that’s it?” when they ended.
Love to see the new signees. A bit worried they didn’t just call Ricochet by his name (makes me think they’re going to change it) but I love, love LOVE that they kept EC3
ETA: Kenny Omega is showing up tonight. You heard it here first.
He wrestled in Japan less than 12 hours ago and they finally pulled the trigger on the feud between him and Cody Rhodes, so it doesn’t seem too likely. OTOH, he did also drop the US title to Jay White, so…
If not Omega, then Bobby Lashley. I said it first.

Good to see Rey Rey back, and happy that Adam Cole and Andrade represented NXT well. Their eliminations weren’t random at least.

I agree, one of the best Rumbles in recent memory. This match was a clinic in storytelling and I loved every minute of it.
Except for Ziggler. No need to bring him in just to get quickly eliminated, especially with his ability. That was a waste.

Watch that end again. Rousey totally dissed Bliss and it showed on her face. Rousey comes in, gets in Charlotte’s face, teases the handshake with Asuka and gets in her face, ignores Alexa.
And so a dull thud ends the show. It seems a couple years too late to capitalize on Ronda Rousey fever. So a RR promo takes precedence over a proper ending because name recognition or something.
None of my predictions came true, but what can ya do? Decent show overall, but spoiled by marketing at the end.
I tend to agree. The Rousey end did nothing for me, nothing for the 3 women standing in the ring. Could have had her come out tomorrow to actually tell us who she wants to face.
