Anybody up for some Diablo?

I specifically asking about D2, but if it turns out that everybody is on D3 (I don’t even know if it’s out or what) then feel free to talk about that.

I didn’t have time to play back when this thread came out. I just graduated and I recently found my copies. I installed them and it seems to play OK. (D2 original wouldn’t play, kept asking for the “play” disk, which the computer seemed to read OK when it was installing. Then I installed the expansion pack and it seems to play fine.)

I resurrected all the characters on my account and on the sd-smallstuff account before I realized that the ladder reset a couple months ago.

So, is anybody playing?

D3 will be out when it’s ready. I’m hoping 4th quarter 2011?

Coincidentally, I just got the urge for some D2, but can only find the expansion disc, not the original install disc…

If it’s still installed, then the expansion disk will work for gameplay. Alternately, I think it might be possible now to install it from online.

Count me out, alas. I don’t have as much time for games at present, and what I do have is going to Starcraft 2.

It’s not - new computer. Also, just started Fallout 3, so I don’t foresee a ton of free time…

Heh. I just went to Steam to see if they sell Diablo*. I type “Diablo” into the search bar, hit enter. One hit. For Torchlight.

*I realised this was a longshot from the start for ‘political’ reasons but it’s a game I’d like to have a reliable copy of and would probably be cheap nowadays, so I gave it a shot.

If you still have your original discs, you can plug your CD keys into Blizzard’s website and download digital copies.

OP - I think I’m out. I got my fix a few months ago.
