Yeah, that sounds about right. If I remember correctly, AOL and the “board” coexisted for awhile and I held out until nearly the last possible moment before I switched over. I hate change. :rolleyes:

That means I’ve not been the most active of members, making an average of one post every 4 days or so. And in that time, I more or less dropped off the boards for 4-5 years, give or take. I’m kinda surprised I remembered my password so easily.

Well I can brag that I joined on the first Feb 29th this board ever had. #4708 isn’t that novel, but I do have the Feb 29th thing going for me. I wonder how many others joined that day? I do remember finding this place because I was off work, with a ruptured ear drum (recurring theme in my life) trying to remember the name of the column I had read in the Montreal Mirror… I put “how many calories in semen” in the search engine. (Which wasn’t Google, so Og Knows what I was using).
I was living in Winnipeg at the time. Not even dating my eventual ex husband. I’ve moved to Vancouver TWICE since joining up.
The rest, I guess is history.

Not the longest membership but may be the longest lurker. Have been reading since 1999, remember tbe AOL board well. I emailed a question in Dec 1999 that Cecil answered, concerning the suspicious similarities between The Lion King and the old Kimba cartoons. Yep, that was me. Didn’t have anything more to say for another ten years or so.
