Anyone else dry off IN the shower?

Woo hoo! Not only am I not alone, it looks like I’m in the vast majority!

I told this to hubby, and he muttered about ‘sampling bias.’ Hrrmph.

And then he offered up two reasons why his way is better.

1. His method clears the shower faster for someone else to use it. Encouraged in settings like gyms and military bases and such, I guess. Not such a big deal in a house with two people and 2 1/2 bathrooms.

2. It justifies the existence of shower mats.

Yeah, I don’t think he was serious about the second one.

OK, try the “aqua rug” and report back if it works (as advertised and as an argument changer).

I have a stall shower (no tub), so it’s difficult to dry off completely in the shower. But I’ll dry everything from the waist up while in the shower, and then step out to do the rest.

I have an old claw-foot tub which is narrow. I dry each leg as I’m stepping out but I do have the advantage of putting a foot on the edge.

No, and until this thread I didn’t know anyone dried off in the shower, although I will admit the topic has never come up in conversation.

However, our shower stall is rather small and it would be awkward. The floor is tile and I have a bath at, so there’s no reason to stand in a small confined space.

I step out of the shower after a few seconds of dripping/drying so I can stand underneath the drying lights, which are not mounted directly over the shower.
