Anyone feel an earthquake in Washington (state)?

A minute ago I felt a mild jolt on the coast of Washington just below the Canadian border.

Earthquake? Or not?

Didn’t feel it in Sacramento, but it looks like there was a
5.7 off the coast from you.

Sorry - a bunch of us in Vancouver just jumped up and down at the same time.

That one happened at 12:05 Pacific Time on Feb 4.

Nothing more recent than that.

There was a 2.2 on the Peninsula at 0402 local time (12:02:06 Zulu) today.

I haven’t heard anything on the NWCN, but they’re recorded and just repeat for hours.

Actually, there was a little 2.2 magnitude quake that struck near Aberdeen at around 2:00 this morning. However, I doubt that is something you would have felt, Johnny.

Yup, it was probably those party crazy folks down in Vancouver jumping up and down.

Holy Jumping Canadians, Batman!

I think I’ve only seen a semi here once – and he cut a corner too short and wrecked a new car. The train tracks are a couple of miles away, anyway. Not windy enough to bring down any large trees. Maybe a neighbour was loading/unloading heavy stuff.

Hm. I felt a little shake about 5-8 minutes ago, and a smaller one now. Both got the cat’s attention.

Maybe we’re just feeling things.

(Or there’s something non-seismic outside I’m not aware of.)

Just went out to check the mail, and the seasonal neighbours are dog some yard work or something next door. Perhaps the ‘tremors’ are coming from them.
